Description

Standing just over 15 feet tall, this giant towers over most of her surroundings. She has long white dreadlocks that hang to just below her chest. Where her skin is not covered in dirt and grime, it is a bright white and has an internal frost, emitting a cold vapor. She is muscular and her hips are almost as wide as her chest. She does not make eye contact and moves around rather quickly for her size. Her face is slender and elongated, with high cheek bones near her radiant white eyes. Her off-white pupil is barely visible, darting around as she scans her surroundings.

Ruka is a woman of few words. In fact, she rarely says more than two words at
a time.  She thinks people should be able to understand the context from what
she's saying leaving out words like I or Him. She gets frustrated when people 
don't understand her. 

She is descendant from an Ancient Frost who went by the name of Blimm. 

She follows Ergush.

She seeks Outlander.

She learned to survive with little basics from living in her frozen tundra.
She learned about forests, Thar-Eris, and Ergush, from Wofeltren.

Backstory

Hailing from a village far to the south, so far south some may consider it
north, was a young frost giant named Ruka. She grew up in a hunting clan on 
a frozen tundra and lived a structure village life.  Her people were simple, 
hunt what you need, take what you want, give back the rest. In the harsh 
environment she learned to survive on very little food and water. Everything 
was great until an Imperial road building crew came through. They were led 
by a powerful anti-paladin and none could stop them. Her village was smack 
dab in the path they wanted to take. Long story short, most of her clan, 
the "BriarFrosts," scattered throughout Thera. She came across a ranger 
named Wofeltren. It was through speaking with him she realized her people 
were direct descendants of an Ancient Frost giant, Blimm. She always knew 
she was special but now she's certain. He explained to her the awakening 
of Thar-Eris, the evils of the Empire, civilization and the Greatest Hunter, 
Ergush. She would join the Outlander, hunting in Ergush's name and the Ancient 
Frost.

Thar-Acacia

That's twice now she's stumbled into Thar-Acacia, those briars around the
curve seem to suck you in. Once on her twenty-second title and again on 
her thirty-fifth. Making it through the mists was much more of an 
accomplishment at her twenty-second, one she bragged to her guildmaster
about but he didn't seem to care. Wants her to return to Thar-Acacia again
when she's older. She will, and burn some of those order mages down to the
ground. Such an odd but unnecessary place.

Progress Inducted and First Blood

Ruka made it into Outlander. She didn't get too excited, Ompyis seemed a bit
boring and talked about worms. Sure worms are important in the cycles, but
pick something higher up in the food chain to worship? She didn't get it, but 
let him be. Maybe she'll hunt him one time if he has something she wants. He 
was pretty insistent on clarifying that hunting is okay within the Outlander.
Ruka wasn't used to that kind of freedom, but she is learning to embrace it.
Maybe she has enough hunt for both. Her slow mind wanders. She's a bit 
scattered but she knows one thing, she is strong.

Her first blood was a wood-elf druid. She was confused how someone who could
have such a connection to nature wanted to balance it with civilization. One
thing she knew is, it doesn't sound right. So she hunted him. Drawing him out
of the trees and pouncing on him like a rabid hyena. She enjoyed the hunt.

Ritual with Klag's Flayed Skin, Freeze it all

Ruka stood over the pit in the Virgin Forest, holding pieces of skin from Klag's
corpse.  She said a brief prayer and threw it in, hoping to summon the form of
Ergush.  Her Lord did not show, but she felt his presence, guiding her.  In a
moment of clarity, she started to notice how intricate the leaves were around
the forest, how the Ancients that created the world made everything so complex,
so perfect, and yet so simple.  She was starting to admire her surroundings more, 
taking it all in, a good thing, since there were so many lulls in the hunt. 

A deeper inkling started to stir within her, to find a way to waken the Ancients.
She was starting to think they are away because there was no need for them to
do anything.  The world they had created was so perfect and the Outlander's were
doing so well at stunting the growth of civilization, they would continue to
slumber.  But Ruka had a vision, also, a storm cloud so large that stormed 
unrelentingly over all of Thera, freezing the entire world and putting it into 
a hibernation that would stir the Ancients. She knew she would need to support 
this, and flay any who stood in the way of bringing the Storm.

Meeting Lord Ergush, Ending Ravln's Reign, Nightreaver

Ruka performed a blood ritual, praying for Lord Ergush. The augur spoke to her,
promising the flayed remains of Ravln and Klag would be delivered. She sat and
waited. The augur taken aback, did it immediately, calling Lord Ergush to speak
to Ruka.  The augur had taught her the First Law of Nature, only the strongest
survive.  Now she got to meet the Lord himself and learned the second, All People
Are Free. He gave her a task, speak to a friend and an enemy about freedom.  She
will.

The remains of Ravln were from the last time his mortal body would reform, having 
been constantly and consistenly riddled with mortal wounds.  It was good for Thar-
Eris, Ravln was a defiler in the worst way, pledging war against Her.  She was
glad it was by her hand.

Ruka was granted the position of Nightreaver soon after.  She was surprised,
to say the least, but she played it off like she deserved it.  Of course, why
wouldn't she?  She was plotting to find a time to kill Ompyis.. Though the other
enemies were too many.  She will not let the Lord down, she will fill the branch
and Reave for Her.

Ruka's Thoughts on Law 2

Ruka's previous meeting with the Lord of Storms revealed to her a new law, All
living things are free.' She was tasked to speak to one friend and one enemy 
regarding the law before coming up with her own thoughts and returning. She spoke
to one friend, Mawgog, one enemy, Tiarumas, and one she had just met, Nalaea. 
Mawgog summarized it in one sentence, "No law, no walls, is eat good on defilah."  
Tiarumas, almost as brief, "Folks are free to do as they choose, but some choose
more than other and thus causing chaos, so there needs to be laws to maintain
the freedom of all." The third, Nalaea, said, just as brief, "Freedom... well
I suppose it would be living as one wishes, without restrictions imposed." Ruka
had to ask someone she trusted "what means imposed."  

Ruka's thoughts on the similar but differing thoughts were thus formed.  Certainly 
not along the lines of Tiarumas's whose thoughts were impose laws to be free. No, 
Ruka's thinking was more along the lines of Mawgog and Nalea, living as one 
wishes, living as one wants, do what you will. It is simply that, do what you 
will. Ruka is not bogged down in morality in trying to do what's right, she 
simply does what she wants. That is true freedom and all living things are free.
The grass to simply exist, the trees to grow their roots, the lion to feast on
the gazelle, the bear guarding her cubs. All live out of necessity to perform 
their deepest instincts, doing what their wills guide them at the simples and
deepest level. Some are created or exist to grow their roots, others, like Ruka
are created or exist to Hunt for Her.
