Description
The stench of decay seems to roll off the obese figure in front of you. He
cowers in the confines of his hooded robe like a rabid dog. Darkened eyes
stare wildly with fright, yet a hint of hatred and disgust is evident. Matted
hair falls in a disheveled manner about his bulbous face, while a loathing
grimace seems permanent under a dwarfing nose. His cloak, which once might
have belonged to a noble, is now covered in grime and dirt. His pudgy hands
appear filthy, the long uncut nails encased in dirt as though he has been
fervently digging. Barely noticeable on his grubby left thumb you see a
remarkable square signet ring of immense value. As his gaze meets yours, he
pulls the ragged cloak tighter, as though drawing in on himself.

Ter Ilv Mugalt Rushakal found the noble life most gratifying. Being the third
nephew of the Empress of Seantryn Modan made for an easy life full of
extravagancies, wealth, and power. His childhood lessons were filled with
political insight into ruling and the judgment of lesser beings. He learned
the sword from the renowned Blademaster, though none too proficiently.
Obesity plagued Rushakal in great proportions.
The Court spoke haughtily of the fat child, yet all expected him to grow out
of his unhealthy condition. However, he did not. As he reached adolescence,
Rushakal did just the opposite. The infamy of his epic size haunted Rushakal
at every step.
Rushakal found himself disenchanted with his high status. No amount of power
or wealth ceased the mocking, leering Court. Seclusion brought an essence of
sanity to the unsteady young mind. He drifted further within himself, finding
the most comfort within the empty confines of the graveyard.
Yet as this seclusion brought sanctuary, it also slowly twisted his mind.
Rushakal longed to be as the dead, to not be bound by the physical form that
brought ruin. Only through death could he ever feel alive, yet only through
enduring life could he find a way to embrace death without end.
