Description
A rather rough and grizzled looking dwarf stands before you. His frame is
rather stout like a stump, a thick stump. The exposed flesh you see through
the cracks in his dark battle stained armor, is rippling with corded muscles.
Gnarled hands that have seen better days stray not to far from the hilts of
his various weapons. A dark brow furrows over two twinkling dark brown eyes.
His long beard is also a dark color, unsure if from the days spent in the
mines or just from nature. Gritting his teeth he lets out a deep huff before
setting out.
Role
Fastest Dwarf.

The mine was damp and cold as I made my way down its dark shafts, the life of
a flintrunner. This was a special job handed down from generations in my
family, with my fathers age he was no longer quick enough to do it anymore,
but dont tell him that. My job, well, it was simple, light the fuse at the
end of the mine and hightail it out before debris got the best of you. I was
fast, very fast! I was able to make it out before the smoke bellowed out of
the mines mouth. My father would say bah! To slow my boy as he sat at his
foremens desk, gulping down a pint of ale.
Faster than you father, he would just snort and bury is head in papers and
drawings of mines and what not. We have a good life my father and I, ale,
meat, women! Oh the dwarf women, such a beauty to behold. As for my
mother. Well, she was killed when my father sent her out on a few errands. We
dont know much if anything about how she died. Many have told us that it was
a dark mage that took her soul for their pleasing, whatever it was I swore to
myself to never let her life go in vain.
Like my father and his father before him, I to have lived a life without
magic. It is not needed in Thera the magic users abuse it and use it for
self-gain. The only ones that can wield such powers are the gods above us and
I will not stop until their power is returned.

The time has come for me to tell my father that I will no longer be in the
family business. Like him I to seek my own thing, something that I can do,
and do well. I seek to become the nightmare magic users have when they sleep,
I seek to become the bane when they are awake, no safe place will be had for
these vile beings. When Im ready and when I know I can hold myself in
battle, Ill seek a hut with in the battle ragers of Thera. For now I will
train all I know, I will battle harden my body for this long and grueling
road, I know I can do this for it came to me in a dream I had one afternoon.
I lay with my back up against a tall oak tree, as I wasted away the afternoon
fishing. A warm breeze caressed my face as I drifted off to sleep.
I stood on the outskirts of a frigid, war torn valley. Huge snowy white peaks
surrounded the valley giving it a shadowed and lifeless look and feel, I
thought to myself that none could survive here, I was wrong. As I made my way
further into the blinding snow it gave way to the sounds of war! Clashing of
swords, dinging of shields, the sounds of bones crushing can be heard.
A huge portal of purple swirling air hovers in the middle of the valley.
Crawling out of it are countless magic users, from anti-paladins and
shape shifters to invoker's and other magical beings. Surrounding the portal
are men and women grabbed in battle armor and wielding every weapon known,
they fight back the taint that tries to come out of the portal, I can see
many dead as the brave warriors push them back. In the front leading the
battle is a massive warrior.
Fjarn it is, I know. My grandfather use to tell me great stories about him.
Leading the charge he quickly dispatches the rest of the magic users,
striking an orb the portal closes, I loud roar goes out as the warriors are
victorious. As if he knew I was there he yells to me. A life of war is a good
life, only the dead shall see the end of wars, go now and strike fear into
the hearts of magic users, as we did here!
Mage Blood.

A surge of adrenalin coursed through my every fiber as my weapon made its
final blow on this shape shifter. I struck a group of three, killing one and
the others barley getting away. With the blood splatter across my chest and
drenched in my weapons I went and seen Tahren the Noldarian Smith of Battle.
He knew as I entered his forge that I came for a reason, I came because I had
my first mage kill. A smile came to his face, as if he could smell the blood
that was upon me. He asked me if I was ready for this life and to swear by
it, I said yes.
Ill do my best to aid my brothers and sisters in the life long war of a
Battle Rager. Whenever and where ever they need me, I will not hesitate to be
at their side. To the end is what I say, only the dead get to see the end of
war.
