Description
Dark and cold is the overwhelming presence of this horrifying entity before
you. A palpable aura of negative magical energy surroundes the remains of his
physical form, moving slowly but much as blood would for the living, flowing
and protecting him from the cycle of life that would seek to claim his
existance.
Bandages fully encase this creature, woven tightly around his form, each end
of the bandages wrapping over the one above like one wrapped in a flawlessly
made, yet spongy cocoon. They are all soaked bloody, with bits of rotted
flesh and oozing tissue seeping through at spots, as if the bandages alone
are all that is keeping the insides of this being from spilling out. One
single, excessively skilled cut looks as if it were all it would take to
see this being with no more internal organs, but for the flexible material
these bandages are, they may as well be as tough and resiliant as adamantium.
His eyes are gone, the bandages wrapping about his head do cover this portion
of his face but what dark energy flows through his eyes and outward from his
unholy soul has torn through the bandages, revealing twin orbs of a
silver, mercurial substance that may not be needed for function for the
movement of his silver orbs, they may act more as a focal point of power
for this monstrosity.
His armorment is shadowed and darkened by the pulsating black aura, dimming
any light and reflection they could create. Flowing through his armors
and at times, his limbs are the remains of his burial shroud. The shroud
is tattered, as if the dead beast ripped through it and tore it to pieces
upon gaining animation once more. Ethereal and remaining only as
spiritual wrappings, they move through him, rising and falling as the dark
energy moves throughout his body.

Even as the plans of a great feast and celebration within the works, even as after yet more plans called the feast of screams
not even begun I sit here thinking of the sect that I lead, empty of all but two life forms within it.
It does not matter that there are only two, it is still the sect of our Gods. Both having risen with the great powers of
necromancy to delve the deepest of secrets and negative powers, this sect is last in placement among the council.
As still he works towards these tasks happening, Saam is devoting most all of his time and energy to the task of
seeing his sect the richest of all sects, that the wealth of the Empire would see his sect in highest standing.
Emperor Varric once told Saam, he himself had donated over four thousand gold to the blade sect during his tenure alone, and yet
the sect of our Gods has only barely over half that amount even now. This is a task that will take him some time, but must be
done before passage through the ghoul tunnels. Failing the incantation without doing this, would see ultimately his service
to his God as a failure, the sect having not been made stronger by his service.
As ever, Saam cannot afford this failure. He is in firm belief now that the realm of death is the realm and joy of his
own God, and death would be no escape to the eternity that would await him in failure.
There is a minor feeling, that the main reason Saam is actually waiting a bit longer than he had planned, not only for
his sect and god, is the possibility that an issue with his age would cause him a measure of cheating, should he enter
the ghoul tunnels, and awaits word beforehand of the possible bug, which he wrote note of, before his descent.
My diary has been stolen

Whoever the fiend is that did it, I hope their eyes dry, crack open, and bleed like an egg.
so that what remains becomes a husk that bleeds their eyelids for the rest of their days.
aka hit by role bug
I lost so much, but I will be giving an overview, but it is taking about 2 chapters, and maybe 3 its almost finished,
but I am going to thin it down to only two. After restructuring the sect with my expectations, I will need this diary more
than ever to keep track of experiments, and who is doing what.
I have been slack on it gathering gold to get sect to first place, but I have to pause and finish it, and take
care of the other additions. My poor neglected and stolen journal.
Life as saam knew it
Added Fri Dec 14 02:50:49 2018 at level 41:
Saam was a man of mediocrity, not being bad at much, but not being anything someone would want over any other, for any
reason at all. He was just a plain man, in a crowd he would be lost entirely, even if just among four or five people as
he was not ugly enough, nor pretty enough to even be noticed as being there. But he had a decent enough life in his own
fashion. He at least did make enough to support himself, and the rest went to prostitutes to curb his loneliness.
It was one of these prostitutes that ended that life, and started him on a new road. The prostittue had decided to inform
the authorities of crimes against her person, and the centurions had found him guilty and sentenced him to taking the oath and
a life of service, or execution. Well even though he had no great life, he had a life and did not want to die. He chose the oath.
With it he chose to learn of necromancy. Since he could not use weaponry, and could maybe show some skill at cutting a
steak only, saam tied himself to the negative forces taught within the necromancers' guild, that at least a man with
little ability could manage to do something, surrounded by all the dead.
He knew that would not be enough and was afraid, afraid of being seen as too weak and made anathema. He knew he would have to
find and invent ways of service that other great men were not doing, so at least in that fashion he would be as useful
or if not more than they to the Empire.
He became not just a recruiter, but with the bountiful recruitment, he became the recruiter for the Empire. Driven largely
to excess, in time almost all empirials living and oathed, have received the bloodoath from him, including those that
were planning to be magistrates, or in Urukubakas' case, not even originally following the ways of order before the oath.
He had went so far as to after a long period of time, steal a provincial magistrate from the spire, whose very life became
forfeit because of his betrayal, and serving a broken god.
He attempted the return of art to the Empire after seeing the museum having fallen to much disuse, save of course
the tendings of the elven Goddess, and once curator of the museum Daphedee. Fortune created a series of events in
which during the art competition, a great legendary being arose, a lich of extreme power who would become our new
curator and God, God Gaspare.
He was doing rather well as an Imperial Soldier, though alone within a sect, not enough to be noticed by many
but it seems, well enough as the only thing available, that he captured the gaze of the Unspoken God himself.
