Description
Sarmas is a slender arial, like most of his race.
His feathers are the color of ash, some black
shows up here and there. A grim expession covers
face, as if this creature is constantly hateful of
"something." Eyes are narrow and piercing, yet those
points of light seem be highly alert. Light armor
covers his body and a small burn mark is visible on
the left side of his chest.

AMYDA TANG

The Shadow Cabal had fallen and scattered families of its members
The Shadow Cabal had fallen and scattered families of its members
were all that was left. These families eventually cooperated and
created a loosely held organization which specialized in mercenary
covert activities. Named after their leader, Amyda-Tang, they
believed that murder is profitable, in every sense, personally and
bottom line. The Amyda held loyalty to their leader and employer
above all else. Secretive, driven by monetary gain and personal
prowess, they stopped at nothing to see their task complete and
the money paid. The Amyda were sworn to secrecy, complete and not
for sale. Soon however, their leader died and another took
over. This one was greedy beyond measure. He saw his leadership
as the position to where all the money went, for his personal use.
As time went on and loyalty to the Amyda fell away, so did its
members. Some dissapeared, never to be seen or heard from again,
others died, yet others faked their own deaths to dissapear.
Eventually, those who were left, brutally murdered the leader and
took each his own share of the treasure.
SARMAS
Added Wed Mar 2 17:16:18 2005 at level 35:
Sarmas family was the one of the last ones to be taught from
father to son, father to son, about the Amyda Tang and its purpose.
As his father got weak and old, Sarmas went out on his own, still
holding the same lost beliefs. He believed in killing for money, to
put it simply. His clients' names he would take to his grave and
their money to his pocket. As far as killing went he had full
salvage rights, unless the employer specified otherwise. In this case
he would charge a permium.
He slowly seeks to master his arts and bring even greater profit to
himself and better serve his clients. His greater goal however is
to bring the Amyda Tang back from the ashes of ruin. To bring it
back into the midst of Thera. He wishes above all else to make his
lost heritage strong again, feared, unknown to ordinary men and
a reliable employee in the continuing war between light and dark,
the cabals and personal disputes of lords and ladies. He does not
seek glory or personal recognition, only profit and to do what he
is best at, killing.
Worthy at Last

Finally, Sarmas has perfected the art of assassination. To be
to be more precise, the art of the strike. There is much to learn still
Now he is worthy to begin his search for his kin if any are left
and his Lord, the Lord of all Rogues, and may he find him worthy.
Now he can call himself a professional and strive for wealth.
