Description

A dark skinned man catches your view. His blotchy skin is heavily weathered and abundant with small nicks and possibly bug bites or some sort. A strong musky odor permeates from his person. Highly disheveled, his garments are rag tag at best. Dirty, bearing no formal markings of any sort. His gaze is very focused with a cold, lonely stare. Deeply hued green eyes rarely blink behind his thick bushy brow. Freshly shaven, his dark, yet shining bald head has several cuts from a recent grooming. His long braided goatee is nearly motionless from the greasy muck that covers his armaments. You can see that his body is fairly thin for even a human. Possibly quick on his feet from his stature, noticing how finely toned his muscles are. Quite lean, you note his physical fitness. With a last glance, you notice that

There's not much to tell, or to reminisce. I take care of myself, and tend to
my own needs. Emotions are tools, toys, and are made to be manipulated.
I keep the the outlands because that is where home is. The scent of the
hunt, and the lack of the the city squabble is what I seek. Goals and ambitions
of fellow... man... are not mine own.   If it does not serve me, then I would sooner
use it for entertainment.  

Either taste good, fit well, or run fast.

They never understood me, and quite frankly, I never really cared. Those sniffeling
orphans of Balator always whining about this, that, or the other. It's no wonder
how I came to be such a loner, a survivor. To Asgaard with all of them! Called me
a trouble maker, an instigator, propietor of angst and disruption. Whatever.

My needs are for me, they can hang off that Teacher's gown till adulthood, if they
even make it. I will make my own path, on my own deeds. Sooner I see that blasted
makeshift prison of coddling burned to the ground, and the Imperial nation to the
north alongside it, the better!

I've accepted my destitute path. An outcast, loathed, hated,
friended by none. My haunts and roams are mine. These...
weaklings that DARE to share the territories that I have claimed
my own will know that only I will be the Alpha hunter. They
will know my strength, my cunning.  Feast on their flesh, tan
their hides for my armors, crush their bones for my meal and
whey. 

Trust is for the foolish, honor is for the weak. The longer I
become a trust Survivor, the closer I become one with the very
lands I survive, with. These are harsh times, and lean.

Slipping into my Haunt

I'm not perfect, but I'm working on it. The weak of my guild are
quickly being culled. Rarely do I see any dare roam my territory
anymore. They know a true hunter when I walk, a true Predator.

My instincts have shown me the few mistakes that I've made...
Reliance on coin, my rare patronage to the squabble of cities.
I know better, that's why I left them to begin with, and enter 
them only to spill their filthy streets with the blood of the
pathetic conformists that pretend to thrive there, relying on
its healers, hiding behind its guards.

There's a band of rebels, outcasts, woodsman, Outlanders. The
Onehearts told me of these people. I don't expect to get along
with many... or any, but if a predator like me is to have any
future in this cruel land, I will need to have a Den.

As this calling has awaken my attention, I will answer it,
I will focus it, and I will learn of what it is, to be
a Reaver.

The Skinner is Born

Liken to the coming Awakening of the Ancients, Selzar's journey has
awoken him, too. Through his unending, unsating, unnerving hunt for
meat, flesh, and blood, he has in his own vision and right, embodied
all that he views to be a true Reaver. Mentoring his young with a 
cruel but guiding hand.. Crushing his foes with an unrelenting and
forceful vengeance, he has set his eyes on the NightReaver.

Wardens of the Tree recieve little to no hospitality of any sort. The
Harbinger himself is constantly challenged, especially if there are
other Reaver's about. It is of utmost importance to him that his Reavers
know they are the Strength, the Venom, and that no one is to get in their
way. All branches grow from the same trunk, yet a Reaver, is a force even
other Outlanders will fear.

Grotesquely wicked towards his enemies, vile in both act and word, Selzar
lives, Thrives on his chaotic way of life. Where he is found, there is 
bloodshed. Rarely is there a person that can say he has not cut into, or
taken a piece of flesh for his coveted belt of ears, or shield of filleted
skins. Like a monster, he has no remorse, or regrets. An orphan once 
shunned away, no a man whom many simply run away, from. Thriving on the
spirit of a slumbering Ancient, this Reaver has taken his place within the
branch of thorns, until he takes his rightful place as the
NightReaver of Thar-Eris.

Returning to roots.

. A bitter, wicked old man, Selzar has grown deeper into his unsated hunger for blood
. and hate. Unsettled over the treatment of the Reavers among the Outlanders, and how
. matters have been handled, he has chosen to walk away.

. Two Sunwardens in a row now, he has seen them as fakes, imposters, each in their own
. ways working directly against his vision of how things should be. The Harbinger and he
. may have seen closer eye to eye, however still, a NightReaver should have been chosen
. by now. If not he, Someone. The Prophet has turned his back on the Reavers, leaving those
. not fit to decide their fate. Instead, Jasthrean has only approached Selzar to warn him
. to leave a Dwarf alone because he is pestering him too much. Even the Huntress threatens
. the Skinner's hunger when hearing that he will hunt Centaurs for meat.

. Liken to the days of the orphanage, a flash of blue lightning blazes through Selzar's
. mind, bolting through his thoughts and overcoming his emotions. Forever changing his
. path now in his later years of life he knows that the Outlanders are no longer his Refuge.
.
. The Slumbering Ancient, his Patron Imp whom sleeps still, yet so alive within him forces
. Selzar to lash out, and act unexpectedly... Strike out at the Huntress in word, and Leave
. the Outlanders.
.
. He does not walk away from his way of life, however. Selzar still lives as a Reaver, his
. creed is still the same, his hunger will note sate and his true enemies will not have peace.
. The old ways will live again, and Thar-Eris will Rise! May the Imp finally wake and in his
. sulfury flash, the Mastery of Mayhem come back from his slumber and display his everchaging
. maw agape in muse.
