Description
Wild, emerald eyes mark the face of this savage looking wood-elf. At
least, you thought he was a wood-elf. Closer inspection reveals there is
some human blood mixed in with his elvish. His small petite, nose is a
bit crooked, and his face keeps almost the full angular features of his
elvish bloodline. His lightish brown hair is long, unkempt, and dirty.
He is not extremely muscled, but well-toned, and has a good control of
his movements. An assortment of furs and pelts cover some of his armor,
with no pattern or style, just pelts and furs thrown about on his body.
Every now and again you notice his eyes pulse a deep orange, only
briefly, as if his eyes are hell-burnt, or the last few coals of a dying
fire.

The Child

The Darsylon scouts moved through the vale silently, just reassuring
themselves that the dark-elves spotted nearby was only someone's eyes
playing tricks on them. It has been so long, they can't be coming for
them now. After another half hour of searching, they decided the drow
had retreated, or it was just a tale. Suddenly, they heard crying, a
baby crying. They all looked a bit perplexed, because they were far from
Darsylon, there shouldn't be a child in the middle of the woods.
Following the direction of the noise, the elves came upon a wood-elven
baby, although their keen eyes already picked out the parts of him that
showed him to have human blood in him. They looked around, and saw a
human woman and a wood-elven man dead. Perhaps there were drow in the
area, but these two seemed to be their target, and why they left the
child alive, was a mystery.
So the elven scouts decided to bring the child back, and one of them
decided they would actually raise it.
An outcast
Added Sun Aug 4 11:35:28 2013 at level 20:
Growing up as part wood-elf and human in Darsylon gave Sevrian a
semi-rough life. He stopped learning to read and write, because the
other children bullied him. Most other elves avoided him in general, as
he did not 'fit in'. The only one who seemed to care about him was the
elf who was raising him. So, Sevrian learned what he could from his
adopted elven father. He learned the very basics of combat, as well as
some survivial techniques in the woods. Despite how strong his elven
blood flowed, Sevrian grew up as an elf. His heart was as goodly as the
high Elves, and he still wanted to protect those who bullied him. He
understood that they only saw him as different, but they would never
actually harm him.
As he got a bit older, the bullying stopped, but Sevrian was still seen
as an outcast by his peers. He continued to get a stronger and stronger
feeling that he did not belong. So, at the ripe age of 16, He decided it
was time to leave.
The drow

Sevrian was only on the road for five days when a party of Drow came upon
him. The rumors of them being in the area had been true, it seemed.
Sevrian was quickly captured and tied up. The drow took him back to
their hideout, where a man dressed in deep-purple robes stood before a
strange altar. At first, Sevrian thought him to be a priest, until he
saw the arcane symbols on his robe come to life.
Suddenly, the drow mage turned to Sevrian, "So, this is the child we left
those years ago? Is it truly time to show him?" Sevrian looked around
with a worried look, but he couldn't say anything due to being gagged.
The man went into casting, and the drow surrounding Sevrian dispersed,
leaving him alone in front of this man. The next thing Sevrian knew, he
was struck by a huge wave of force, and he was flying away, but he looked
down and saw his body. Next he knew, everything felt hot. His vision
started adjusting to flames, and an assortment of devils and demons. His
contorted into instant fear. This could be the end of him. This was the
end of him.
Back from the Hells

Sevrian came to with a pounding headache. He jumped up and looked
around, and realized he wasn't wherever he was before. It felt like
two-hundred years had passed, but he felt just as young as when he was
sent there. He had returned to his own body, it seemed. He looked
around, his once emerald eyes glowing a deep orange, pulsing every now
and then to glow brighter. He came upon some elves from Darsylon. They
were friendly to him at first, until they saw his eyes. Two ran
screaming, and another just shook his head and left.
Confused, with no idea why that had happened, Sevrian continued to move
away from Darsylon. He joined the guild of rangers, and within a few
years, his eyes returned to Emerald. He still had fits though, he'd get
headaches, sometimes nightmares, and his eyes would change to that
hellish orange color during those fits. His soul had spent time in a
pocket between the hells and the abyss, where he was tortured by demons
for two centuries.
He couldn't let it change him, though. He had to stay pure, had to make
sure his life was dedicated to getting rid of darkness like that. He had
to, as much for himself as for the rest of Thera.
