Description
This elf has slanted blue-gray eyes. His luxurious, straight, gold hair is
worn in a style that reminds you of flowing waves settling neatly upon the
sandy beach. He is tall and has a graceful build. His skin is tanned, as
elves go, and he has hollow cheeks and small pointed ears. He wears a tunic
and robe fitting of holy background. Lithe limbs protrude slightly from under
his robes with a grace common to his elven heritage.

The Life and Times

Hailing from the Vale just south of Darsylon, Shaleis has seen something of
horror, terror and death in his days. His peoples are always under constant
attack, whether it be from the drow or orcs, or even from the random
passerby, bent on darkness and destruction. How does one survive and escape
such an upbringing mentally unscathed? The short answer is, you do not.
Shaleis was put to work as soon as he could speak, bringing bandages and
supplies to the healers huts as the village within the vale would recover
from its latest invaders. He had a knack for not getting dead, as wave after
wave of armed attackers came, consequently he was taught more powerful ways
to heal and his stature grew within the community.
Life was not all doom and dread. There were times when celebrations were
called for like living through the week. Shaleis relished these times of
whim free from worry. He often vied on fine Elven wines and pale hobbit
stouts.
Thus before us stands an elf with something of a living dichotomy. Stern
respect for the job as a priest he loved and for the ties and his place
within society. Yet, he also something of a flamboyant streak within, never
turning down the chance to celebrate his passion for life, friends and
family.
He feels strong urge to continue his work as a healer within the Spire of the
Blood Tribunal, but also doesnt see why the occasional celebration shouldnt
take place, daily, hourly, if called for. A drunk with a badge, what could go
wrong?
Twisted Goodness

Riethen. On a cold morning sometime before he joined the Spire, asked young
Shaleis where his path would lead him in life, no doubt attempting to see if
he intended to join the same rebel ilk as Riethen. Shaleis kindly informed
him they had vastly different goals in life, he would be joining the Spire if
they would have him. Shaleis was reminded of drow zealots he fought in his
youth by the tirade he next heard from his elder cousin, Riethen. Youve
made your choice and I have made mine, and I will see your blood on the
field. Remorseless. Cold. He calls himself Fairborn? Shaleis toasted in
his dark honor and wished him the best and bid that we never see each others
blood drawn in anger. Perhaps there is not a drink strong enough to wipe the
vile words left in the air by the Sunwarden, but no reason not to try and
find one!
Exciting Spire things, maybe

A drink in hand and his eye on the watch. Not much passes for excitement in
the cold port city of Seantryn Modan. The Empress already have a firm grip
over the populous, little was there to do but count the hours and sniff
candied schnapps. Although, there is a certain charm to a few of the
inhabitants and a plethora of bars and inns made the time bearable. Now
within the confines of Hamsah, such a dry gem in the middle of desert wastes
and apparently a town bereft of any form of spirit or drink- what are these
people thinking? Shaleis might not be beyond smuggling in a few cases of
imported spirits from places beyond, because it clearly seems the town needs
it!
Whiysdan's Ways

Whiysdan! It certainly was a surprise to see the staff thingy land on "yes".
At first it was hard in Shaleis mind to reconcile how Whiysdan could empower
both rebels and law keepers. But in speaking with other priests of his faith,
Shaleis came to realize it wasnt about our goals, as much as it was about
our Passion for those goals. That was the spark Whiysdan relished and
encouraged. As for the task set on him by Whiysdan, it certainly seemed easy
at first, but know after some looking and asking around, it seems more
daunting than ever. Never-the-less, not impossible! A toast to that.
