Description
This man you see looks to be of average height for a human. He wears dark
cloth, trying to make him as unnoticed as possible. His dark brown hair
flows loosely down to his shoulders. He peers about the area with an empty
gaze, but when his eyes meet yours, you could almost feel the coldness
seeping into your bones. His nose doesn't compliment his face, as it is
jagged from being broken too many times. He wears a small black piercing in
his left ear, but it's hard to discern what it is from this far away. A
small patch of hair is visible under his chin, though he doesn't let it grow
any further.
Role
school

I was just a young boy, attending school like every child was in Galadon. I
was a small boy, not very strong at all. It was easy for kids at school to
push me around, I got used to it mostly. It was only just a few pushes,
sometimes I would get a little punch to the side. I was only here to study,
I was more intelligent then all of them. They had their strength, but my
small form was quite agile, and I could swerve some of those punches and
pushes.I could never stand up to them, they were so strong. I always went
home with bruises everywhere, no matter how many punches I avoided.
An odd day in school today, I walked among the halls with no shoving,
no punching, no nothing. All I saw were grins, everyone just grinning at me.
I left school that day, I took my normal route home. I liked the dark,
so I always walked through the dark alley. This time was different though, I
walked about halfway through the alley before I noticed figures coming out of
the shadows. They were tall, and looked very strong. I noticed two of them, I
tried to walk back the way I came, but two more come from there as well.
They started to surround me, I noticed on punch coming from my left, I was
able to dodge that one. A second punch came from my right, but I wasn't fast
enough and it hit me in right in in cheekbone. I fell to the ground, my face
in agony. Each of the bullies bent down, and they took turns beating on me.
Finally they were satisfied, and they all left. I laid there, in so much pain
I couldn't even move.
The beginning

I lay in my bed, it has been three days since I was in school. My parents
had enough,they told me I had to go to school today. I didn't want to, but I
couldn't do anything about it. So before I left, I sat on my floor, put my
hands together on my bed and prayed, oh I prayed to whoever was listening. I
asked to help me, help me fight off these bullies, so they will cower in fear
at just my name. I sat there for a few minutes, hoping I would feel
something. Finally, I got up and went to school. I went through the dark
alley again, I didn't think they would wait for me again. I was right...sort
of. There was only one this time, though. He came out of the shadows, and
for some reason I didn't seem scared, I didn't back down or anything. I just
kept walking towards him. I heard a voice in my head, it said 'Kill him!'.
He laughed, and threw a punch at me, I quickly dodged to the left, and
somehow...I put my hand flat, and jabbed it at his throat. I'm not sure what
happened, but he fell to the ground, hands at his throat, squirming. I
smiled to myself as I watched the life flow out of him.As he finally
started to stop squirming, I started to walk to school again. I noticed
movement around the corpse, so I stopped and looked closely. I fell back in
astonishment, I saw claws coming from the ground, to grab around the corpse.
Though it was not grabbing on the corpse...but something else. The claws
started to pull down, and I noticed this ghostly figure leave the body and go
into the ground with the claws.I sat there for a few minutes, staring at
the corpse.
The Demons

As I sat in my bed, I was still trying to figure out what happened earlier
today. I couldn't fall asleep, I had too much to think about. I laid there
for hours, just thinking. All of a sudden, I got this feeling, it made me
uneasy. I started to feel my bed shake, so I sat up. I started to notice
this...thing at the edge of my bed, it was growing bigger...and bigger.It
reached out to me, then I noticed it's big claws, the same ones that grabbed
the ghost of the bully.I was scared, I tried backing away, but all I hit
was my wall. It leached onto me, and I felt myself melting away through the
surface. I opened my eyes, and there was fire...fire everywhere. I looked
around, those things were everywhere, grinning with their sharp teeth. Clawed
who knows what could happen. I stood up, and right in front of me were three
massive beasts. I asked them what they were, they just stared at me. I
noticed something, at the beasts ankles, I slowly walked close enough just to
see what it was. I smiled, it was the bully I had killed, wrapped in chains.
Suddenly, one of the beasts walked right in front of me, bent down and
stared. I just stood there, looking into it's eyes, they were like a world
burning in flames. The beast stood up, and said in a deep, raspy voice 'Yes,
this one will do'. The beast that was next to the chained human said 'Child,
bring us more like this one'. And he kicked the chained human next to me. I
looked down upon my bully, and I laughed in his face. Then I felt a claw
grab me, and the next thing I knew I was back in my bed, almost time for
school.
The Empire

This is too slow, I thought. Killing them one by one is not going to work. I
need a better process. I was in Hamsah, I had just killed passing merchant.
I watched the claws come and grab the soul once more, I had seen it so many
times, it has stopped bothering me. I was just about to leave the city, when
I heard someone yelling. It was the Emperor of Thera, he was ordering around
his citizens to do his bidding.Just then I had a thought, that would be
perfect! For this whole world to do as I command...oh would I make those
demons happy. Only then will I achieve the greatest power this world has ever
seen! I know what I must do, but it won't be an easy task.
My new allies

I may be able to make my plan work, I have even gathered someone who
will vote for me for Emperor. Though he is a bit incompetent, he is easily
manipulated, and he does as I ask. It will be tough getting him ready to
fill the War Master position. I only hope Jebaral is gone when I put this
into action, and Gedunthos is the Emperor. He seems to have taking a liking
to me, though I need to stop making a fool of myself and dying right in front
of him.But still, I think I could convince Gedunthos that Dilatum should be
the new War Master, if everything goes as planned.
Oh yes, and I met this Verimal fellow earlier, I am not sure of his
intentions, but he seems keen on aiding me. At least he is not as
incompetent as the blade, and I do not need to teach him anything. He said
he can help make my plan work, I am not sure how he will do this, but we can
only wait and see. Any sign of betrayal, and he is as good as dead.
