Description

Slightly hovering above the ground, this feathered creature looks to be fairly short, about five feet and six inches tall. Her lovely blue eyes go in synch with long flowing brown hair. The clean white wings look quick and quite strong. A fairly thin beak protrudes from the almost human face, making a slight accent on her white face. The overall build of this woman is lean but powerful, with just enough muscles in all the right places.

Being born and raised in a big city of Galadon presents its challenges.
The parents of Spiorra, who were both into the trade and taught her all the tricks
were on the receiving end of a heist gone wrong one day and suddenly
she was all by herself, relying on the quick fingers and her wits to stay alive.
While a thief by birth and by trade, she very carefully avoided stealing from
the less fortunate, even when the opportunity presented itself, and tried hard
to live off the spoils of the rich imperials riding importantly through the city.
They don't own Galadon, and maybe if their coffers are a bit smaller they never will.
But, she didn't quite hesitate lifting a thing or two from the others, maybe
not so much from the paladins who were helping the city by charity work, but
much of the other prey was hers for the taking. And some more taking maybe.

The move to Dagdan

While Galadon is still Spiorra's hunting ground, the guild there didn't
quite provide the fighting training she found a new interest in.
While stealing is good and all, and could sustain one for a while,
there should be more to life than that, and Spiorra feels she can make
a bigger impact and change happen. Someone has to drive off the thugs 
and murderers and general lowlife that surrounded her in the underground.
She was tired of living in the shadows with the shadows. It would be very
refreshing to go out and make a difference in the world, make it better.
Thus, she went off to Dagdan where they could teach her to fight better.

Disgust

As I saw the fire giant warrior just mowing the commoners of Tir-talath,
I could take it no more. A girl of a good repute cannot stand by the common men
and, especially, women, to be killed with no more sense that for the joy.
Something had to be done. And I was just the one to do it. Luckily, one might say.
Skillfully, I will add. The Dagdan guild surely teaches a girl some new tricks.
You don't kill the common men. You just don't. Not on my watch.

Relentless pursuit

Relentless pursuit
A short while ago I've noticed a dark fiery knight sneaking around.
I went out to check on his activities, and, sure enough, my worst fears 
were true. He was slaying innocent orphans at the orphanage.
Oh, their cries will haunt me until my dying days.
I couldn't stand by and interfered. Being a coward scoundrel that he is,
He ran off before I could kill him and ran straight for Galadon,
where he sat at the gate of the city under protection of a Justiciar 
present in the city. I thought of myself being surely dead if I attacked
him under the circumstances, but I had to take that chance to finish
him off so that he wouldn't hurt the children anymore. If I die in the process,
that's a small price to pay. Very unfortunately, he ran off as soon as I 
attacked, and I was wanted for the supposed crime, albeit I was doing the world
and all sentient being a huge favor. Plus a job that needed to be done.
I'll try not to hurt the guards as much as I can.

The Fortress

I suppose I was headed towards the white walls of the Fortress, 
but my parents would never guess as much. At some point, I just couldn't 
stand by and let the scum of the world just kill, pillage and loot 
anything and everything they wanted, and some of what they did not.
I was very surprised when Tanion decided to skip any recommendations and
just let me become a squire without sending me off to talk to anyone else.
I will hold my dagger high and uphold my duty as it befits the creed and myself.

Flying watch

As the days have passed, I have learned much within the Fortress walls.
I became confident in combat and learned quite a few tricks.
Unfortunately, it's very often that I'm the only one on watch.
But the enemies are being kept at bay to the best of my ability. 
Flying in the shadows along the Fort's walls provides a decent view
but I am surprised that not many are ready to take to the life within.
Even though I see few marans to learn from, I'll do the best I can to
uphold and protect the Orb and the Light. 
Even in the darkest of night does the glint of my dagger show the way.

The current state

It is very welcome to see many heroes rise to the challenge of life in the Fort.
Better still, the forces of evil hide in the corner, often nowhere to be seen.
Yet, it seems to me that we're all far too eager, far too many for one soul
that is tainted. In the eyes of the other observers, we don't seem to be different
than an Empire in its prime, roving endlessly all across Thera in great numbers.
And this nonsense of a war with Battle seems to me brought on, at least partly,
by the aggressive actions of the Fort. If even the barbarians perceive us as a threat,
then we might have overstepped our bounds. I shall do my best to battle evil, 
just as I have always done, but do so in a matter that gives sense to victory.
And truly allows us to show the superiority of our strength and beliefs, not numbers.

A new seed of hope

Today, by my words and deeds, Kontoln the drillmaster saw the futility of their war.
Maybe he realized it before, but today he was firm in taking the matter to the
commander and trying to stop the war. Am very proud of myself.

I declined the urge to steal anything from him or Ikiso, I battled them by one and two,
I even helped them drive off an attack from the chasm (since it's clear for me
personally what the bigger evil is, even if the village holds the orb.) 
Misguided, yes, very hard to battle, yes, but they're not our enemies at all.
Sure, the darkhearts among them will find no peace, and likewise our mages, but
the village should not suffer the mistake of one commander. And the poor giant, 
he does his job with courage and resolve worthy of being one of the Light. 
I do not have to be forced to battle him again. Nor any of the villagers not walking in the shadows.
With the drillmaster convinced, I reckon it is time for their war to stop.

The unfortunate war

Seems I wasn't able to prevent it no matter how hard I tried to. 
I wish it to be stopped, but do not quite know how to make it so.
I shall try my best to talk to the villagers to amend their take on it,
however unsuccessful that has been proven. If only I could do more...

Oh, the wonders

Oh, the children. I must admit I have a really soft spot for the oprhans.
I look after an orphanage far away, and maybe should spend less time there
and attend to my duties at the Fort more. However, they really, really need me.
Thus, when Rahedra called for the protection of the Balator orphanage, 
I had to give up my staff of wonders, which I used extensively, and which
was probably my most valuable possession in exchange for 10000 gold to
build, expand and protect the orphans. Cannot help it.

The need to eradicate the remainder of evil

With the foolish war finally over, we must concentrate on the 
remainder of evil that still walks the lands. Not often, thankfully,
but still out there. I will train the young the best I can so
they are prepared for their fights and keep suppressing the shadows.
We should be glad nothing is further impeding our progress. 
Ironically, it was a soul of pure evil and hatred who had more sense
than even the stubborn wood-elf, now dead.
