Description
Here stands an enormous cyan giant, measuring almost fourteen feet tall.
Long, well-brushed blue hair cascades from beneath his polished helm down to
his broad shoulders and is banded together with braided leather straps.
Friendly but shrewd amethyst eyes flare out above a broad nose, and his
mouth is settled in an amicable grin. Thick, strong-looking extremities
extend from a bulging torso, most of it covered by thick plate armor that is
clearly well taken care of. This giant moves with the confidence and grace
of a man who trains his body often and is no stranger to fighting. You also

Strarmond was born and raised in Loch Terradian to a well-established family.
His uncle is the farmer with the shop west of the Duke, and Strarmond spent a
good deal of time at the shop helping out and working as a young giant. Even
as a child he was fascinated by the goings on at the store, and as he grew he
became more and more involved with the business of the operation, and the rest
of the Loch.
This evolved into a strong focus on commerce and trade that shades how
Strarmond sees the world. He loves getting a bargain, or making a good deal,
and he hopes to use his talents to improve the "market" in Loch Terradian,
which in turn he believes will improve life in the Loch by bringing more art,
cuisine, and other knowledge. Strarmond truly believes that gold is good,
because he sees what good can be done with it. Building orphanages and
museums, feeding the indigent, offering premiere medical care, all of this can
be done if it can be funded. He also has a great affection for "city life,"
and is a fan of the idea of the protection and expansion of the civilized
world.
To that end, Strarmond will join the Spire as a Magistrate. He has already
parlayed with Ishuli and struck the outlines of a bargain, with the details to
be finalized and memorialized later. In general, Strarmond is a very friendly,
happy go lucky type of fellow, who can be tolerant of different viewpoints. He
understands the value of networking. But, if you interfere with his business,
or commerce or civilization on a large scale, he might not want to be your
partner.
