Description
Here stands a tall man with regal looking features. Golden locks of
curled hair is cropped closely to his round head. Cool blue eyes, the
color of warm sea water pierce the surroundings looking intensely
focused. A rather narrow and pointed nose is centered perfectly above
thin pale lips curving into a gentle smile. The most striking feater are
the semi-pointed tips of his long narrow ears that seem to pierce the
crown of his golden locks. Clearly not quite human, but not quite elf -
he appears to be a half breed based upon facial features alone. He is
tall and average in build, not quite as lithe as the elves of Darsylon
but looks nimble none-the-less. He is clothed in a flowing white robe,
and carries a gem-studded wand in one hand, and a small dagger in the
other. You might suppose by his clothing that he studies the arcane arts.

Syldur Evanstar was born to loving parents his mother an elf of Darsylon,
and father a human from Tir-Talath. They raised young Syldur as best
loving parents could and gave him the best start at life he could hope
for. As time would have it, he became a man - and fascinated with the
idea of taking the shape of great beasts he had read about in the
library, he decided to pursue a life in the shapeshifting guild.
Adventure's awaited him around every corner, and he soon left his parents
in the family home and set out upon a life of discovery and wonder. For
the most part, Syldur was a good man - but do not believe that life would
not challenge him.
In his youth adventuring and running errands for various people, Syldur
found himself indiscriminately slaughterning what he thought were wicked
merchants on the docks of Hamsah. This became a lesson for him, because
by his own hand he accidently slew two merchants who were not in fact
evil, but cheerful men who were minding their own business. Offering a
prayer over the bodies of the two slain merchants, Syldur was filled with
regret. He needed to learn to discern the wicked from the righteous with
much more clarity. So he sought out the Fortress of Light, that he might
be taught to see wickedness and goodness in true clarity. It became a
goal of his, to aid the good and light of heart - to support those less
fortunate than him. He decided he would like to learn the ways of the
Acolyte's and provide counseling for others who had perhaps made the same
mistakes as him. He dared to be courageous in the face of fear, and to
explore places he had never seen, and slay great beasts that have only
been slain in legend. Now he waits, for his chance to serve the forces
of goodness in council.
Striving for Greatness!

I am an Acolyte of the Golden Sun! I almost can't believe it. I feel as
though living amongst those of the Fortress of Light has given my life a
great purpose - and I only hope that I can fulfill it. With the aid of
my brothers and sisters of the fortress, I have reached the pinnacle of
my guild and am able to take the form of the Hyena. It has such a savage
bite, and I hope it will dissuade my enemies and aid my companions. I've
also learned the form of the Fox - I am hesitant to take it's shape as I
think I will find myself as the Hyena far more oft.
I've also found the shrine of the Pathfinder, Korsgaard and I had the
great pleasure of meeting him for the second time. He is an impressive
dwarf! I've always been fond of the way they talk, and I feel like I
could listen to dwarvish stories for hours! I'd love to hear about some
of his great triumphs in battle some day. After our meeting, I have
decided that the life of the Pathfinder is for me! I'm really eager to
start hunting the great beasts of Thera, and before I knew of the shrine,
and Korsgaard - I had always wanted to take on the great ancient lizards
of Thera. Aiya - The best cook I have ever met, served me up some fine
dragon dish and it was the best meal of my whole life. I decided when I
was young that I wanted to help her slay all the ancient beasts and have
a dragon feast. It's such a daunting task though, there are Dragons I
haven't even heard of, and I don't think Adventurer's have slain them in
a very long time. It's okay though, I am up for the challenge -
esspecially if it teaches me anything about being courageous. I've been
tasked with finding three things that represent Courage, Strength and
Honour. The three virtues Lord Korsgaard embodies. So off I go to find
some!
