Description
A white scaled saurian with blood red eyes seems to freeze at your
presence, a subtle red flower pattern extends over his scales like
embers hidden in ash. His clothing is simple of make, a robe mimicing
the pattern of his skin is made from natural materials with a hemp rope
of swamp vines belting it. Pouches knotched with grooves and bumps to
identify them by feel alone hang from the belt, they overflow with still
living herbs and plants that seem to thrive being near the presence of
this strange albino lizard.
Standing taller than most humans his face has a short snout with two
flaring pinprick tear-shaped nostrils, he opens his long muzzle a crack
revealing razor sharp teeth that look like obsidian and a black mouth
that seem at odds with the whiteness of his scales. A bright red forked
tongue sits in between two fangs dripping with a vibrant green viscous
liquid. His moods seem ephemeril, one moment there is a feral nature
when looking upon the face of this saurian as if there were an untamed
predator looking through his eyes, the next an empathy enters him and
softens his features as if he bears the weight of the world on his
shoulders.
A small tree with thorns and red flowers is growing from the end of
his thick tail the roots extending halfway down the tail to his body.
The pungent smell and humidity of a bog emanates from him, a swarm
of leeches are attached to him though he doesnt seem to notice them
or the mosquitos that swarm him. His clawed hands have three nimble
fingers and his feet are of the same design, but seem coiled as if
ready to spring to action at any moment.
Role
The Strange Felar

From his earliest memory Tlel'sra had always been an outcast. His mother
had abandoned him and no one would take him in, they fed him surely but
that was the extent of their kindness. Tlel'sra had white scales with red
eyes and a red flower pattern all over, no one had ever explained why they
despised him. They pointed to his white and said Weh and his red and said
Sra, and said he always existed among the three days of death, when Sra
becomes Weh. He was never invited hunting because he stood out amongst the
jungle so he studied the many plants, insects and beasts instead alone. He
felt a spiritual connection to the swamp that exceeded his fellows it seemed
to speak to him at times.
One day as he sat at the edge of the village communing with nature while most
of the others were off hunting an unusual felar that had a strange power
emanating from him came through the village. He walked straight to the white
saurian and said 'What is your name spirit of the Fireblossom?' I said this
one is called Tlel'sra to which he said 'Yes yes the Tree of Life!' He
touched my forehead with one of his claws and winked at me as he sauntered off
into the jungle. No one had ever glanced at the strange felar he must be Weh
thought Tlel'sra, a trickle of blood ran from his forehead where the felar had
touched him.
The Tree of Life
Added Wed May 5 22:16:19 2021 at level 1:
A few days later Tlel'sra went to the elder of the village and asked about the
Tree of Life to which the elder sighed and said I suppose you are old enough
to know the truth.
You know our people always vanish into swamps with our scales. Saurians have
different camoflauge depending on where they are meant to be. We named you
Tlel, Tree, and Sra, Life, after Tree of Life. It is one plant that is
poisonous to us within Swamps, but 1000 insects and creatures and plant live
at existance of it, including us. You know swamps have two seasons Sra and
Weh, Wet and Dry. When heat lightning comes during Season of Weh and lights
swamp gas and jungle burns the Tlel'sras bark turns white and all its
poisonous thorns turn to bright red flowers which make a fruit that sustains
swamp till Sra fills it once more with life. This is only time Tlel'sra is
edible is its fruit. Your camoflauge is meant for Weh when swamp burns and
white bark fireblossoms come. You exist with one claw in Weh and one claw in
Sra. Tree of Life seems rare until everything burns then that is all you see.
You remind them of Weh it makes everyone uncomfortable.
This one sees is all Tlel'sra says in reply. That night he set off from the
village deep into the untamed swamp seeking a Tree of Life his name sake.
Hoping to commune with it to find some answers or peace. He finally found
one at the northern edges of the swamp. He sat beneath the small tree its
strange spindly branches dense and filled with thorns. Days he sat beneath it
slowing his bodily function as only reptiles can, only breathing once every
few minutes. At first he noticed only a few insects, but as he became a part
of the landscape it came alive.
Life and Death, Natures Laws.

Many lizards lived in its spiny branches, they fought over territory spearing
its rival on thorns, its blood would pool on the Tree of Life's roots and be
absorbed. A few days later the Weh body fell to the ground where many species
of insects went to war over it. The air pressure started to change and artic
north wind blew in with a gale force. The only thing Tlel'sra could do was
wrap his tail around the trunk to anchor him, he was sluggish from the days
meditating.
A wall of ice seemed to move towards him, as it met him the air froze with a
snap. The storm abating as quickly as it formed the air thawing quickly, but
Tlel'sra sat as if dead only breathing every ten minutes. He stayed there
frozen between Sra and Weh for five years watching the endless, beautiful,
brutal cycle of Life and Death. The Tree of Life melded with his tail as it
grew. A manicured miniature tree grew from the tip, the green of nature
creeping up his white and red tail. He knew no thought but the oneness he felt
with the swamp, in this silence there came an awareness that he wasnt alone.
It wasnt words so much as a Mothers love so vast and all encompassing it
couldnt be questioned. Over time came understanding that all was connected,
just as the swamp was connected to the Tree of Life. Sra can not exist without
Weh, and Weh would not exist without Sra. It was the Natural Order of things.
Mother screamed in pain he felt the flames racing through the swamp burning
all to ash. When the heat washed over him the warmth brought life to his
hibernation and vigor to his body as it absorbed the warmth. He sprant to his
feet for the first time in his life he vanished into the swamp. The white
bark and red flowers of the Tree of Life stretched across the swamp.
Defilers and Thar-eris
Added Wed May 5 22:20:25 2021 at level 1:
He could feel where the pirates and raiders were they were Weh within a sea of
Sra. He sprinted silently through his swamp towards them feeling the distress
of his people. As he moved past a Large Tree of Life he saw his people dead
or in chains of Weh they were helpless before the slavers. A quivering rage
such as he had never known raced through him as he called upon the Mother
silently. Power raced through him as he stepped forward automatically as a
beam of lights breaks through the clouds illuminating him. A voice that
emanates from him reverberates through the swamp.
Thar-eris has named you Defiler slaver. I curse you. The insects will not
touch your corpse, or animals scavenge, you are apart from the natural order.
The power flooded through Tlel'sra seemed as if wielded by a force greater
than him as the Trees of Life uprooted themselves and became sentient before
setting upon the slavers. Snakes darting from the branches leaving them
screaming, leeches swarming from the mires, a poison dart from lept into the
mouth of a screaming slaver. Before Tlel'sra knew it the fight was over and
he was panting as if he had just ran a race.
He looked at his people and with a wave of his claw the Weh metals binding
them rusted and blew away on the wind. As one they fell to the ground around
him whispering Sz'tlel'sra over and over. The Wielder or Master of the Tree
of Life. It was not me it was the Mother I wanted to say but I took Pride in
righting a wrong. I am Sz'tlel'sra Fireblossom I roared to them before
slipping into the white and red swamp to find those who knew Thar-eris and to
gain understanding of the Laws of nature.
New things
Added Sun Jun 6 22:55:59 2021 at level 28:
Sz'tlel'sra of the Fireblossom has experienced more than he could have
imagined since leaving the Village swamp. He has found those that know the
Mother Thar-eris, they are great hunters and have taught him much and made him
feel as if he was a part of something for the first time in his life. Though
it is not without strife but that is life. Gharanja holds much hate in their
heart for the Saurians, it has taken Sz'tlel'sra some time to gain even a
small bit of the Sra Warden's trust. Apparently a K'sra had turned Sz'weh and
betrayed them at some point in the past, but Fireblossom as he liked to be
called told them he walked the path between Life and Death there was no chance
he would become Sz'weh.
He has found the blessing of the Great Hunter Ergush and still seeks to learn
more of the deep wisdom, and to become a hunter. He was excluded from this in
the village because he stood out and scared the game, but he has learned on
his own and studied the ways of animals and nature to truely grasp what it
means to be a predator. He also does not see why those of the Tree of
Outlanders favor chaos as he sees a Balance in the world. He has learned the
easy way is not the best way there is little wisdom learned when others show
you as you can not make mistakes.
Freedom
Added Sun Jun 6 22:56:48 2021 at level 28:
He has pondered what Freedom truely means since speaking with the Great
Hunter. Tasked with speaking to the Lawman, whose corpse he fed to Thar-eris,
about freedom was enlightening but brought more questions than answers. He
was a felar and knew much about slavery saying that in the past they could not
even have their own thoughts and were bound in magic slavery to the Mages.
Fireblossom could not imagine such horrors. The felar told him that he
freely said the words of the Oath to the Empire and if the Empire every
betrayed him he would die rather than submit. This impressed Sz'tlel'sra
greatly for he thought to find a weak slave forced into the Oath that had no
will of his own and instead found a wild streak.
Fireblossom thinks many fear to break the bonds of civilization because they
worry about starving. He now is trying to find those who are receptive to
teach them about the order and cycles of the wilderness so they can learn to
find food like every single animal in the world. He has found people to have
less wisdom and intelligence than most animals. Most can not even feel the
winds and read the clouds, or feel an earthquake coming long before the quake
ripples beneath you.
