Description
A lithe figure stands here about six feet tall with his tail moving slowly
back and forth. He is much larger than other felar you encounter, and it is
even more readily apparent by the bountful amount of muscle his fur seems to
be trying to contain. His coat is dull and not reflective whatsoever, and it
is nearly pitch black in hue. The rest of his body is proportioned larger
than normal, his paws being the most readily apparent, though they look
ragged and chipped from so much use.
Two large ears rotate upon his head in slight degrees trying to catch every
bit of sound happening around him. He directs them at you for a moment almost
as if he's reading your discerning thoughts. Below them sit two jade green
globes covertly scanning his surroundings as his black nose twitches slightly
giving it a bit of backup. His fangs are longer than normal but quite
yellowed as if they are never taken care of. As you peek closer you also
notice that...
Role
Abstinence from Assassination
Added Tue May 12 00:56:20 2009 at level 35:
As he walks into his respected guild his guildmaster eyes him up and down.
The scars of battle are beginning to add up on this young one he once took
in. Taalin is so busy with his dedication to War that his fur seems to have
lost all fluff it once had from not cleaning himself.. dried blood has
hardened it to merely a shell of caked hair about his body. Taalin's eyes
dart around obviously recently been on a hunt.
"Any new lessons for Taal?" the cat whispers.
"Oh yes.. just what I have been waiting to teach you my loyal student. You
have brought me pride lately.. and here is knowledge of what truly will make
you an assassin" chirps the guildmaster.
"Yean tell Taal knowledge one of most important thing.. will learn with
happy. How much cost and what is?"
"Oh just a few copper as always my pupil, but I may now teach you how to hide
from combat and strike your foes down in one swipe!"
Seized with anger, Taalin slams his paw to the ground stepping out of the
shadows. He hisses as he pulls a berserkers banner out of his knapsack and
pushes it but inches from his guildmasters face.
"You think that bring Village glory?! You think berserker need hide like
coward from shadows and not fight?! Taal know need knowledge, but that not
pure!"
"But Taalin.. you will die by many without this... "
"Taal would rather die more and keep honor than lose honor and live! Taal
keep fighting scrappy and show strength! Guildmaster obviously not seen how
strong has gotten! You never speak of this again to Taal or he quits coming
here!"
Waving his banner about one last time, he puts it into his knapsack with a
sense of pride and walks away to hunt again.
Art?

Dipping his claw tip into the gummy tar, he begins to scratch crude markings
upon the parchment. He nods to himself solemnly with each stroke, attempting
to succeed with his first attempt at art. After several hours his work is
completed as he sacrifices it to the heavens in hope that Yean will find
it...
*** An overly large mountain stands proudly with a cliche snowcap donned at
the top. Stakes are driven in to the highest point of the monolithic mound of
rock and earth, each one with a head mounted on it.. though they seem to
still be alive by the crude lines coming from their mouths that are directed
at a large giant climbing up the mountain. ***
*** The giant looks nothing less than determined as some symbolic flies await
around his head for him stop pushing upwards and fall into stagnation. The
mountain looks completely destroyed every step the giant has taken, perhaps
showing there is no choice but to push forward through the resistance. Large
boulders look to be headed straight for the giant, and there are what seem to
be magical runes on the face of them, obviously the tainted obstacles he
faces in real life, keeping him from his goal. ***
*** A flute, book, and strips of muscle sinew are strewn about under the
talking heads, representing his goals at the top... knowing nothing will stop
him from success. There are some other odd things happening in the picture
that make no sense to you, but you take it for what it is regardless.. the
last thing you notice is just a childish drawn cloud at the bottom right hand
corner as if it's the artists signature ***
Reflections
Added Mon May 11 03:05:46 2009 at level 30:
Wiggling his claws in disgust, Taalin emerges from the trees north of
Darsylon. His fur is slightly razed, and he is covered in blood and does not
seem to least bit upset about it, in fact a toothy grin is smeared upon his
cat like face as he climbs up the mountain and sneaks past a few mighty
skeletons.
His honed nose breathes in the moisture of the lower clouds as he thinks..
and reflections soon begin to overcome him as he thinks about his life and
the Sublime Lady.
He looks at the highest clouds in the sky and nods to himself, realizing he
is now a bastard by choice. "Taal higher then all.. gives own new name.. is
now Taal Cirrus. Every other be below Taal."
"Fight in Thera is everything Taal expected to be.. War hard but Taal enjoy.
Lions never even come close to as fun of hunt as mage taints. And best thing
be Taal fixing world with each paw swipe and STILL get eats!" he hisses with
pleasure. "There more strength in Taal's heart than ever realize.. knows it
will just get bigger and pour out, like big waterfall.. mages be at bottom.
Just need keep seeking knowledge, need keep finding more strength in self.
Lady Yean will keep good advice, Taal thank God's for letting play Her
funflute in heavens. Just wonder if ever going to escape stupid cat body
again without magic taint... Taal should study."
He begins to think about what Lady Yean said more and more about knowledge
and he nods to himself... "Taal going study about past village failures,
should give insight and lead to strength.. so always know what Taal not need
to do, and how to learn from past brothers."
Nodding wisely he pulls out a parchment and some gummy tar wrapped in leaves.
"Yean like pictures bet, Taal going make masterpiece.. she always remember
first revelation Taal ever get."
A New Life
Added Wed May 6 17:52:42 2009 at level 11:
Upon his escape he walked out onto a completely barren savannah with no life
at all. The ground was void of life and he could see it grew less and less
apparent from the caverns entrance. Realizing the suffing and magic had
ruined the life around, he knew he must find a new home.
After days and days of travel Taalin came upon a large city north of a forest
goblins called silverwood. He swore to himself he would destroy all forms of
magic, what ruined his happy life, and someday become his true form again. He
still had nothing but sheer disgust of his appearance but was getting used to
being more nimble. Stumbling upon the guild of assassins he learned he could
hide himself from the view of others, something he was never truly used to,
and become the predator he once was with their studies... he did not hesitate
to do so.
Taking their brand into the first circle he stepped out of the guild with a
newfound strength in his bones.. knowing nothing could stop him with the
perseverance that had built up within his soul. With that he took a deep
breath and looked up and the moon lit sky until a small hiss was heard from
the alley. Snapping his attention to a run of the mill alley cat, his eyes
glowed with delight as he chased it into the shadows.
Throw Away the Lock and Key!

Never giving up, Taalin stayed true to himself... and it paid off. He was
bent, but never broken.. but it surely could not have lasted too much longer.
Somewhere else in the charted lands of Thera fell one of the strongest Dark
Knights of all time. His weapon was stripped by a muscle bound human some
called the Commander of their village. He took it to Tahren in pure victory
as he shattered it into bits with the entire village watching. Screams of
tormented souls and hissing magic escaped and wouldn't cease... and every
mage was stripped bare of their power for a mere moment as the veils power
was completely choked. Every battlerager raised their weaponry in a
conquering victory... and so was another future soldier across the world.
Taalin gasped in amazement as the magical locks on all cage doors sprung
open. His cage was right outside the masters quarters and he heard him cry
out loudly sounding as if someone was choking him to death. He raised his
claws in sheer joy with such a peace that his strength would lead him to
freedom once again.
Escaping his cage all the other prisoners ran immediately from Taalin fearing
him more than their master. But Taalin went straight for the masters quarters
and found him coughing blood and stripped momentarily of his magics.
"Remember when say Taalin meat? Master Butcher?...." hissed the pissed off
felar. "Taalin want cut head off!" he cried out as he bolted for the weakened
magus, and with one swipe of his paw the masters head fell backwards hanging
from the back of his neck only by strings of flesh. Wasting no time he ran
from the cavern he had dwelled in for many years to his freedom once again.

The feeling of his awakening has never escaped him. His... paws were strapped
to a large board and the world seemed so much bigger than before. A rush of
air overtook him and he purred with disgust as a full body of fur could be
seen covering his once bulging physique. "What happen to Taal!?" he cried out
in desperation.
*Click Click Click*
"Mmm.. my finest transformation yet..." whispered a dark voice from the
shadows.
The board he laid on began to shift to a vertical position as Taalin spotted
a pale man within the shadows rotating a lever. He felt so vulnerable, and
his heart was gripped with fear as he watched the man began to move about
him.
"These Felar have always intrigued me. My great grandfather was a slavemaster
before their race freed themselves from their chains of slavery. But..."
"WHO IS THE MEAT TO TELL THE BUTCHER HOW IT WISHES CUT!?" screamed the man in
rage.
"Oh they may have turned on him and slain him... they may have began to
resist his magical ways... But NOT ME! Ohhhh no not me Taalin. For every free
felar on this place we call our planet, I will transform another soul into
one... Just like you! You will fear me, you will face slavery until death
just how your damned race was intended to!" cried out the demented man in a
eeriely passionate tone. He began to cackle loudly as he motioned his hand
toward Taalin putting him back to sleep.
Taalin awakened in a cage within the large hallway he was once so giddy
about. All he could think about was his disgust with his form, his
entrapment, and the temptation of the meat surrounding him. Years passed and
hatred brewed within his heart... he was forced to the most grueling work
with his demented master knowing his will had to be broken. He was punished
profusely for the many felar he could not stop slaying and tasting, but still
would not back down from his master.
"Taal strong.. can never give up"
Another Hunter?
Added Wed May 6 17:41:01 2009 at level 11:
Taalin continued to live a life of hunting, exploration, and indulging in his
glorified diet. But one day struck a different note in his song called life.
As he was exploring the outskirts of his savannah land, he came across an
intriguing cave entrance hidden at the base of a mountain. A torch was lit
outside and wonderment began to run through his mind as he had thought he was
here alone, only seeing wild beasts for years. Curiousity got the best of him
as he cautiously entered the mysterious dwelling.
It came to an abrupt end after a few minutes of walking with absolutely no
signs of life and Taalin could only look around befuddled. Leaning up against
the pitch black wall of the caverns end, Taalin fell through right on his
back as he gazed up at the dark translucent wall. Light hurt his eyes from
the sudden change and he turned around to see cages on boths sides of an
immensely long hallway magically lit up from an unknown source. Shock
overcame him as he felt lust swell in his heart and he rushed to his feet as
he stared at over five hundred feline of a species he had never tasted
before. The large cavern was filled with an almost deafening amount of meow's
and hisses crying out.
He moved quickly to the closest cage and snapped it open like it was paper
and slammed the felar that was trapped inside on the ground knocking him out.
Marking the location of the cavern in his mind he could only be filled with
lust knowing he had so many free feline meals in his future. Grabbing the
tail of his bludgeoned prey he dragged it back toward the wall he previously
fell through until his mind went instantly black.
Setting up Shop
Added Wed May 6 17:37:58 2009 at level 11:
The tall savannah grass bristles with a sudden rushing wind... It stops. The
small pack of lions in the small clearing ready theirselves in a battle
stance sensing danger as they start to peer about. The silence is broken with
a battlecry as a massive cloud giant rages out of the tall grass with a speed
even these lions aren't used to. He breaks the skull of the two females with
a large rock and dashes toward the male barehanded and rips his jaw from his
face as he plunges his hand down his throat and stifles the lions heart.
Looking at the three fresh carcasses he nods to himself with a sense of
pride... "Nother catmeat night for Taal!"
... He was far from any ordinary giant. He ran away from his mountain village
as a child after hearing stories of royalty being spoiled rotten and unable
to even live on their own... being the son of the king... he wished no part
in incompetance in life and could already sense the overly protective
umbrella his parents were attempting to put over him. He swore to himself to
live a life of happiness relying on his own self. After running away from his
village he came upon a large plainsland and felt so at home... desperatly
hungry and knowing he had to learn how to hunt he dedicated himself to this
place.
It was a secluded time of growth, figuring out who he was and what brought
him pleasure. He was always alone, but could always find mischevious
situations and had no problems with finding amusement. He would put on shows
with skulls and bones for himself sometimes even... but time passed by and he
grew into a mighty and skilled hunter, not letting any part of his preys
carcass go to waste. It was sad to say though, these plains were filled with
lions, tigers, jaguars, panthers, and cheetahs. The first time his lips
touched that raw feline flesh, he fell in love... it was all he ever desired,
yet little did he know it would be his bane...
