Description
Shimmering golden light, enshrouds the exotic figure of Tenyajn.
Her figure is rather peculiar indeed, giving hint to a background of
martial arts. Whilst still preserving a feminine delicacy that marks
her of elven blood. Ivory skin, unscathed by blemish or scar covers
her sinewy build. Scarlet hair, lively in form and shape cascades
down her back ending just at her waistline. Eyes of cerulean blue,
reflect zealous intent that quickly eclipses the delicate presence she
exudes. Prominent ears of her elven blood, full-lips, high cheek
bones, and arched eyebrows make up her angular face. Her regal
form is clad in blessed armor and opulent jewelry. Most peculiar of
said clothing, is the scarlet cloth that has been wrapped from
knuckle to forearm. Tied about her waist, is a long embroidered
sash of both scarlet and gold. A coy smirk remains readily set on
her face as she surveys the area deciding her first move. Upon

We often see balance as a clash or dance if you will, between two
opposing sides. At face value, it may very well appear to be so. But
beyond that? Within the depths of the dance. The quest of two
lovers or two foes. Lies something much more. Something...
nearly artistic in being. And it is there within it's foundation,
that we find ourselves.
The Monastery

Because to understand not for what we move, but WHY we move. That makes
living worth while. For Tanyajn, she realized that at a young age. Often
peeling away and dissecting the motives of her decisions and those around
her. Trying to get to the root of things opposed to just seeing it at surface
level. She was in many ways a benevolent creature, curiosity pulling her
instinct to not just see life but experience it first hand. It was such that
led her to becoming a prodigy of the monastery at a young age. Wishing to
find within herself a state of well being and oneness.
Most importantly equilibrium.
The void

She lived a straight forward life, proclaiming to the world her aspirations,
and then moving swiftly to see them to fruition. To her there was no other
way to live. Time was one force that was always against mortal man and flesh.
And in her life she had much she wished to do and experience. The virtues of
the monastery had become readily engrained into her being, having left her
mother who raised her alongside kindred. She had all until now felt a sense
of emptiness that, try as she might never became filled. She questioned if it
was from not knowing her father, or if it may in fact be tied into her
existence of feeling alien even in her home of Darlyson. She couldn't put a
thumb on it, doing so only continued to fill the growing void opposed to
staunching it as she needed.
An unfortunate turn

After successfully finishing her time at the monastery, she
decided to return back to her homeland of Darlyson. Offering her newfound
teachings and talents to their grand aid. Delight blossomed and danced upon
her as she made her way home, shifting to sorrow, then downright despair as
she got closer. Something left her unsettling. At the time she did not mark
it as a talent of foresight. Nor did she realize that this very talent would
prove to be a dual-edged sword of a curse. Coloring her with sadness as she
new something, something treacherous was to happen next.
From the ashes-

If there was ever a moment in her life that she felt hopeless it was now.
At the time where the air filled with cinder, and burning flesh choked her lungs.
Where the desolation taunted her, making her feel more completely insignificant
in the scheme of darkness. She had never, known a time where she felt more frail.
More...insignificant.
Gathering a grip on herself and the looming feelings that now colored her.
She closed her eyes before the destruction. Meditating deeply she extended
herself outward, feeling for any goodly life force that required aid. Feeling her
energy brush against that of those who although faint were still alive. She
moved on quickly. Slipping with ease through the carnage and wreckage left
by an enemy still unknown. Within the matter of minutes she was before it, the
epicenter of where she felt them. Little girls, trapped under burning rubble.
She oncemore exuded her presence outward calming them in a fashion, she
could not put into words. With nothing more then her hands she dug through
he wreckage. Her mind and body desensitized to the pain, years within the
monastery with deep meditation now paying off. Sweat now blurred her vision,
her hands were now raw from the licks of the flames. But she knew she had to
continue. Making one last heave at a log double her size, she shuddered in relief
as the girls emerged from the destruction. Scrapes and cuts littered their bodies.
A few burns even- but for the most part they would be okay. She quickly gathered
he lot of them. Ushering them out of Darlyson through the forest to the south.
Only taking one last moment to look back at her home. Her home that was now
a sight of wreckage and destruction. She swore upon that day that she would do
all in her power to restore her home to it's former glory.
Timelessness

Years were passing, more rapidly then she realized. But for the vitality of an elven borne.
She felt none of the side-effects of it. She was in many regards still very youthful. Her beauty
preserved in it's highest form. Her eyes that were once the color of her mothers. Had begun to
ill in color, becoming pupil less. Nearly otherworldy, they were set in a color of vibrant gold.
And although they may lend idea to her being blind, her swift mannerisms and the feeling that
set upon you when she lay her gaze upon you showed otherwise.
Hause of Von Delamont

She was happy now, her memory of helplessness having now dissipated and
feeling with something that meant so much more. Resolve-she knew that the
future held many opportunities for the light to make it's way back. In the
most unfamiliar of forms. In fact several of them where now before her. The
children she had once saved from the fire. Now grown in adolescence. Their
resolve in the light and shepherding it outward bolder then ever. It was,
what led her to open her Hause of Von Delamont. A baseline for her future as
well as girls who wished to be a part
of something bigger then themselves. It
was here that she trained them, taught them of healing and divination. Of
combat and Thera's history. So that they could take such skills and extend
them outward to wherever their adventures took them. It was within this
Hause, that the light blossomed. Not only outwardly but internally. Because
for once in Tenyajn's life she felt complete, whole in being and action. She
knew that her efforts and the efforts of her girls would bring auspicious
things to the lands. She was content for sometime living among them as Mother
of Faith. But these things changed, as she became more enlightened so did her
senses awake. And her gift of foresight, that much more tempered. It was from
such that she first spotted him. A lord. Her Lord. Lord Deormdel. Within the
dream he said nothing, and asked of nothing. But his presence, washed over
her in chilling waves. He was powerful, all knowing, and most of all
benevolent. His story that he shared with her via just a touch of his energy.
Resonated with her. As it spoke of one who gave back to his people. Giving
all that he was in pursuit of their survival and protection. It touched her
so deeply. That after discussing with her girls. She set on pursuit of not
only him. But being an instrument of the light even on a larger scale. She
knew it was only right after all. That she utilized her Patron-given talents
to touch everyone no matter how deep within the recesses they were.
The Glacial Lord.

She did several things before making the journey to him.
Revisitng her old monastery.
Visitng the visit of the Cloud.
Learning of Balance from their Elders.
Reflecting on the stores of Lore amongst them.
It was when she felt comfortable to seek his
audience that she did. Descending to a frigid mountains where some of the
darkest of evils lived. It was there, within it's midst. Of water frozen and
transfixed in time. That he called out to her. His appearance would've caught
her by surprise had she not already felt him some time ago. His words were
honest and true. He was very matter of fact with her. She could ask for it to
be no other way. She was caught off guard by his words. Many a priest before
her had sought him but in pursuit of extending his dogma of honesty outward.
She was one of the first, at least that walked her path. To speak on Balance.
Balance that had become a familiar and necessary thing to her life.
The Rogue Paladin

Things had transpired so quickly for Tenyajn that day.
But out of all that replayed itself over and over in her head.
She held onto the central theme of humility.
Something she needed to exercise.
The experience was one to learn of.
She came from a background that taught her to exercise.
Her opinion as she saw fit. But this was a case where she
needed to listen more and talk less. It was after all the best
way to get through and touch those she cared for the most.
Her fellow brothers and sisters of the Fortress.
She had indeed stayed true to herself. Standing by her
opinion on the matter. But it taught her a valuable case
that at what price? She had decided to leave her home
to get back to her roots of her faith and her understanding
of the virtues of the light. So that if her path led her to the
fortress oncemore. She could be a better one to serve it.
Many found her decision to leave a bit drastic. But it
was a testament to her monastery beginnings. She
needed to recenter and balance herself. Because
somewhere in the bigger picture of it all she had lost
her foundation. It would be wrong of her to not be
the best version of herself for her duties. She knew
that this way she could be just that.
It was reassuring to know that her Lord stood by her.
And in their discussion was capable of pulling the veil
from her eyes and showing her that humility was ripe
for the taking. His honesty was as always a breath of
fresh air. This time no different then any other. She would
ensure that she upheld his name to the highest of respects.
Resurgence

I had found my calls to my Lord, my wishes for his time more urgent and more
frantic. But I knew not what it meant. If I was grasping upon my faith
because it was the only thing in my life that remained grounded. Or if it was
something internal I was fighting against. It all came to realization after a
talk with my Elder Gulrom. A paladin who of which I had looked up to in
earnest from my beginning days even before the Fortress. He alongside Domond
and Dalaek were a trinity of the holy. Brothers of the crusade, who taught me
in many means about courage and the difficult path we walked. I wished in
many ways to be deemed their equal. I spent much time soaking in their
knowledge about both combat and faith so that I may armor myself in it.
As Lady Baerinika says, a sense of intrepidity in her voice. "The War Continues..."
The truth in these honest words honestly cut deeper then any
infliction that a weapon could give to my flesh. For as I continued on, and
through my failure and success. I had lost a great deal of myself in the
sense of loved ones. They had given so much of themselves to this war and
before my eyes I watched their flames burn brightly, before snuffing out all
together.
And here before me now, speaking to me his form a citadel of the light.
Adorned with healed scars that all told a tale of his fearless battles was
Gulrom. Within his eyes, I could note the same flame and more importantly the
sorrow and tiredness that marked a Maran who had been fighting for sometime
now. We joked of old times, and what my presence meant to him. Before he
imparted upon me his wishes that I was bound to carry out. To continue to
protect and watch over the Fortress, to see to it's growth. He said within me
he saw something that brought pride to him. In my sense of humility I did not
want to acknowledge it. But I knew in a case as this to disregard his words
just for humilities sake was a great injustice. I had to live up to what he
saw in me, for that matter what those of the Fortress saw in me. I was to
always be guiding hand of light.
It was a moment of resurgence that I needed in my state of compliancy. I had
been so use to my routine doings of the lands that I went from aspiring to
simply existing. Such was not just. I needed to set more goals before me.
After a brief talk with a few of the Fortress and finally the blessings of my
Lord. I moved forward, I would attempt to approach the mantle of Elder Prophet.
