Description

You see before you a man with eyes full of cold hatred with the eyeballs widely dilated. The hair on the head is light brown, almost gray, the hood is pulled down almost to the very eyes. Facial expression evoke concern and contempt, fear and anger at the same time. He periodically wrinkles his face, narrows his eyes to look for something. Terath was accidentally conceived by a whore in a Hamsah
when she get pregnant from some client.
Mother, learning about the pregnancy too late, 
decided to quickly get rid of the fetus.
To do this, she poisoned herself with all sorts of poisons.
When that didn't work, she turned to the magician for help.
Since she didn't have a lot of money, magic was cheap and dirty.
The magician tried to produce a miscarriage with the help of dark magic,
but could not succeed, as he said that his magic was beaten off by the fetus.
It was not quite then that the stupid mother 
understood what "beaten off" meant,
but the magician refused to work with this, 
as he said that magic could turn against him,
and, well, he said that is some kind of strange child.
The mother then decided to leave the child.
At birth, the child often trembled, but then calmed down.
Does he seem to have acquired a hatred for magic in the womb?
What kind of gift he has or something, they thought around.
The childhood of Terath was difficult, 
and since mother had no money, they almost starved to death.

Betrayal

"Your strange gift will help me to survive,
or you want us both dead from hunger?"
Mother said. "Some magicians are interested in
your 'gift'". She sold Terath to the magicians for experiments
Magicians gave her 10 gold for the child.
"They will give you food and water and place to live.
I hope that you will study the magics with them."
She said. It didn't turn out right at all.
After that, Terath developed a terrible hatred of women.
And his soul turned to dark.
"Now that's you hut", said thin pale magician.
"You will be given a three times food and water a day".
"I will study some magics with you?"
The baby squeaked.
"Huh? Bastard. You will serve for us to sharpen
our magics upon you. Hah"
The Betrayal - is the one of personality components
was began from that day.
So, the tortures of the body of Terath has began.
Magicians focused on the strength of spells.
They wanted their spells to pierce the 
defenses of Terath and he watched the fireballs
burned him some. Icecles freezes him some.
Poisons and plagues, harmed his body a lot.
He tried to resist the magics with all his little body.
But sometimes he was unsuccessful.
He tries to hide from the magicians, he run around
He found himself at the place, named Azuremain.
Allright, mages will practice the faerie fog to find you, hah.
So that was the game to find a rat, they said.
The one who found the baby will get some prize, the mage said.
Once falling into a trance, Terath found himself in a different place.
His body was burned by another fireball, 
but his soul from the pain teleported in the village, 
among the warriors who drank rum 
and happily talk about great battles.
Joy passed through the body and strength returned to Terath.
After that, at the peak of the pain the soul was teleported
to the village of warriors and he got the vision more clear
As the pain from magics was more piercing.

Warriors

Once seems the one of the warriors, that was laughing and drinking
noticed the soul of Terath among them.
A'h see 'ome soul up in 'ere, dwarf said.
Hah, magics tricks again? The second warrior asked.
'rm wait, dis is 'ome other shite, dwarf said.
"Azuremain", soul of Terath said and teleported back to the body.
Yer heard of some 'xperiments in Azuremain?
dwarf asked the second warrior.
We can kick the shite out of this place! To war! - second said.
More skulls to the skull Throne! - the dwarf shouts.
The warriors began to scream everywhere around
to begin the raid of magical town.
the day was shiny and no cloud was seen at the sky.
The few boats of warriors calmly boarded near Voralian shore.
With all his strength the dwarf yelled "Prepare do die
yo' bastards!"
Terath waked, the body was pained
Suddenly the blood of magician was spilled at his
face. Terath concentrates at the eyes of the warrior
smashed a mage.
They were full of hatred and bloodthirst.
Warrior raised his sword upon Terath.
Terath suddenly dreamt of dissapearing.
Warrior began to look around in confusion.
He spits and left, screaming for another shot.
Terath heard the screams all around as the battle continued.

Final thoughts

" Nah, here that one is", the warrior in the hood said.
"Wait, he was the soul ah' seen", the dwarf said.
"'nd he don't look like a magician, don't he?"
"I am not a magician", Terath said.
"Aye, magicians bodies are thin and pale, and
dats body is full of scars. Poor boy.
dats body is full of scars. Poor boy.
Take em with us, seems hes one who survived
after dem tortures here. He will be useful fer us."
"Fighting with magics is needed to progress the will
of the man. Noone will progress, until
the one will meet the magics.
Look at that warriors, strong and tough.
They will live the life of the farmer,
but magics made them be who they are.
Fighting with magics is needed to train everyone
to be the strongest and glorious."
Terath said to himself. So from now
and forever he decided to fight with magics.
Noone will blame the whore son
to be so stupid, as he only fight
his own demons and never will win for eternity.

Doubts

While living in the village, Terath grew and soon became one of the best warriors.
However, he began to notice some strange things, for example, 
Commander had a tattoo that emitted magic. 
A healer in the village could give the power of blessing and armor,
as magicians did. What is the difference? He had not read books,
but he had heard that the bloody head of the magician
protected by them was mummified by a necromancer.
What, then, is his power of repelling magic, given from birth?
After all, he lives thanks to it. Maybe he should look
for the answer not in the village, but somewhere else?
Meanwhile, the Commander appointed him a Drillmaster and he agreed.
After all, he didn't have any other family.
But the thought that something was wrong did not leave him.
Looking for an answer, he returned to his mother's house in Hamsah.
Everything was destroyed. Terath was not sad after her betrayal.

Witch

"What are you looking for here, thief," an old woman,
appeared from nowhere, hissed. - Oh, so simple, he answered. 
- So just come to me. Terath felt a strange urge to approach,
even though the old woman was disgusting and
smelled of decomposition. Maybe it's magic,
Terath raised his sword, preparing for battle,
the old woman touched him, the sword fell
out of his hands, he became weak.
- Listen, you are the baby that was given to the magicians,
the old woman hissed. You weren't killed,
these magicians always want something more.
If so, then one thing will still kill you. Which one is it?
Terath whispered helplessly. Your soul is needed by these,
the old woman coughed hoarsely, the Scions.
They are there looking for how to lower the world into darkness,
and in particular, and, among other ingredients,
they need to find a person with the gift of repelling magic.

and he slashed at her hand. The sword passed through the void.
"You can't kill me," he heard the scream subside
as the old woman flew away. - Never!

Conclusion

All right, Terath thought, and why did she tell me this,
because now I'm warned. Judging because
all magicians are stupid and greedy, she failed to open the portal,
and now she is weak, and will not allow anyone to do this now, having warned me.
Well, it's good that the mages are hunting him now,
Terath thought, we'll kill them all faster to end the War.
But he decided to walk more carefully
around the Dark Tower to the south of Hamsah.
