Description
Before you stands a slender yet muscular figure, about
6'1" in height. His head is adorned with auburn hair
that reaches down to his shoulders, collected at the
nape of his neck byt a leather cord and from under thin
brows two emerald eyes peer out over the surroundings.
The skin covering his form is tanned a light bronze and
looking closer at him, one can note that his ears are
more pointy than that of a normal human's, telling of
his mixed ancestry. Moving with a certain grace in his
step, one can tell that at least some of his blood is
of elven kind.
Shimmering on the back of his right hand is an odd mark,
reflecting the light at odd angles, making it almost glow.
Role
The first faltering steps

W..where am I? I feel strange. This is not where I fell asleep and yet...
it looks familiar. What's that tingling I feel in the back of my head? As
if someone was looking at me...
Swooping around, Thalric glared at the air behind him, but no one was there.
No one but the seemingly friendly gnome who greeted him and asked him to step
into the great building behind him. Perhaps he could learn more in there..?
He came out on the other side, thoughts swirling through his head in a confused
chaos, yet as he looked upon the world around him the queasy feeling started to
subside... somewhat.
"Let's see what lies around the corner then..."
Achy feet

Ugh, my feet are aching. It's been a good day though. I've run all over, seeing
quite a few things and even as I rest... I feel I should be out there still.
I don't know what it is.. but something keeps pushing me.
Ever since that day I watched my father wither away as my mother, still looking
young like a spring dawn held him in her arms. It's the curse of my heritage I
guess... but even so, I just wanted to run, to escape. We'll see what I find down
the road.. for I don't think I'll stop just quite yet.
Getting even... perhaps?

"-Hum de dum de dum..."
Thalric hummed the little tune to himself as he retrieved another bottle from the
clerk before him, handing over a silver coin in exchange. Wrapping it into some
cloth he replaced it into his knapsack and exited the wine shop with a smile on his
lips.
"-Glorius day I say! Now where did I put that map... ah, there. Let's see now..."
He was soon on the road again, trudging along but during the last months something
more sinister had invaded his mind, and he didn't like it one bit. It was irritation,
frustration and sometimes outright anger that even though he was just a traveler
there seemed to be people who wished for nothing else than his head.
Those centurions were becoming more and more prominent on the roads he wanted to head
down and even though he so far had been able to mostly avoid them, it still irked him
greatly that they would force him to go around when he had his goal so clear in mind.
His goal... yes... what was it really? He just wanted to travel, see things, experience
new and exciting events, but the world was forcing itself upon him. Making him adapt.
Forcing him into submission. So far, he didn't really mind, he had gotten around easily
enough. But things were becoming more and more difficult and... well. Perhaps it was
time to give the world a good fistshake and help it out a little, so it'd leave him be.
Choices going awry?

Was this what he had really sought? Bloody battles, keeping him away from what he loved
most? He didn't believe so, yet he kept at it with a stoic heart, for he knew that with-
out him there would be one less to seek out and do battle for the world he sought to
shape. He desperately wanted to have nothing but peace around him, to be able to sit in
the mountains gazing out over their splendor without having to be assaulted by brigands.
But it felt as if it was a world long in it's coming. Until then, he'd just have to keep
his shield at the ready and hope for the best. For it was it not that that drove him?
It had come as a bolt of lightning out of clear skies. Hope. He hoped for a better world.
He hoped to be left alone out there with his friends.
Would it ever come true? Time would have to tell.
