Description
The outline of this young elf fit that of a young of his race. Supple, pale
skin covers toned, but not large, muscles. Soft blonde hair falls to near hi
shoulders and is parted in the dead center of his angular head. Vibrant
emerald eyes gaze about in a wide-open manner, overtop of a squat nose.
Pointed ears stick straight out and point slightly up toward the sky. He
wears simple clothing on his athletic frame, and walks with a staff in hand.

Young Tharous began his life in a small farming community, tending to his
mother's work as a healer. Tharous watched eargerly as his mother tended
simple wounds, wounds from a life of working fields and farm. He found
happiness in watching her sew up cuts and spread salve on burns. Quickly,
Tharous picked up on the first aid his mother supplied and began
assisting where he could.
When he was deemed old enough, his parents told him of their story. They had
lived in Darsylon, but found their skills to be less required than was needed
out in smaller places. They decided to leave the safety of Darsylon to
provide comfort and help to those less fortunate. Tharous was inspired by
this story, to give up something you love, to go and help others was a
fantastic path to take in life.
Several years of harmony passed and thing were well, though stories had begun
to roll in about the fortress not being manned to its full potential and that
scribes, and acolytes were needed greatly. This troubled Tharous because he
knew that the fortress was the one group that fought to defend the light.
After a full day of mending wounds, he had come to a revelation. What he
knew of the acolytes was that they were defenders. Protectors of the light and
the Maran of the Brigade. He, while helpful in the town, knew that he would be
more helpful if he lended his gifts to the fortress.
A sad evening followed his revelation as his mother and father gave him their
well wishes. They were sad to see their son leave, but glad he was following
in their path.
