Description
Somewhere between dark-elf and human, the lean sinewy figure of Thezheshah
radiates resilience in almost stoic poise. Her dusky skin diffuses nearby
light creating an unearthly glow. She moves with practiced fluidity. Her
clothing and gear seems carefully chosen, not the sparse, uncoordinated kit
sold to anyone with a few coins, and well-worn for certain. Her hair is
short, unstyled but mostly clean and cared for. Her intense light blue eyes,
possibly the most telling non-human trait about her, contradict the coldness
of her austere expressions with their youthful curiousity and lust for
novelty and adventure.
Role
Parents are a luxury

"Khes?", Thezheshah woke up with a splitting headache. The damp air on the
cavern floor made it slippery as she scrambled to her feet. She had been out
cold for hours. The last thing she remembered.. and it all came back to her,
was her trying to run away from home, with her younger half-brother in tow.
The Priestesses of Llolth, she discovered, were preparing to offer the boy as
a sacrifice. For some ungodly reason, her mother, the parent they shared,
thought it would be a good idea to live with the boy's father. It was hell.
Every moment, being treated like an outcast in a culture of deceit and
wickedness that she didn't even want to be a part of. Her mother didn't care,
and her step-father certainly didn't either.
"Parents are a luxury," she remembered telling her brother, Khesar, as she
got him out of bed and quietly into his clothes. He didn't quite believe her
that the priestesses were planning to kill him. After all, they were treating
him so well. Bathing him often, feeding him, putting him in the finest robes.
He didn't see it. But she overheard it in the streets. The father was twisted
enough to be proud of this. The mother, to0 focused on her new man to even
know what was going on.
It didn't make sense then as much as it did now. Thezheshah spent months
looking for her brother in the caverns, checking everywhere but Teth Azeleth
itself. She didn't dare return. Even for him. Especially not for her parents.
If her brother had been captured, he might be dead. But, if he escaped..
well, he could be anywhere. Likely somewhere in the caverns, but its time to
seek out new places. New terrain.
A visitor in the woods

Returning to the surface was something of a homecoming, even as she fled her
home in the Dark. Vague memories, long-forgotten, of her and her mother
living on the surface before her step-father came into the picture. Her
mother had been a fairly narcissistic half-drow woman, and easily misled by
dark, handsome, faces. This union is what lead to her half-brother, and their
subsequent move to Teth Azeleth. The bright sun was still a shock, however.
Almost as stunning as the places her mind wandered as she thought of her
brother. What if he was captured and taken back to the House? What if he was
dead.. or worse, what if he was alive? Becoming as wicked and fowl as them..

As Thezheshah stalked the woods in search of prey, she suddenly became
aware of a large, blue, beacon of a soul. Aaor and Thezheshah spoke at length
about the nature of Loss, and its role in shaping who they are today, giving
form and support to her developing faith and comfort. He left her with the
advice to seek a lantern in the mists. The mystery has her intrigued, along
with it the promise of making the most of the loss of her brother.

On the surface, things seem more complicated. The solidness of the earth
slows the spread of industry and civilization, but on its surface it's free
to spread. Not unlike an infection colonizing the surface looking for a rare
opportunity to dig deeper. Below, the duergar are the worst offenders. The
drow are too self-absorbed to have such aspirations. But here? trolls, orcs,
dwarves of all kinds, and more defilers are created every day. Perhaps some
of Aaor's most lingering words.. none have suffered loss more than Thar-Eris.
Thar-Eris has become an idol to Thezheshah, a mantra. How would Thar-Eris
handle such a loss as her young half-brother? Thar-Eris, she ponders, would
grieve, would mourn, and then continue on with life. No need for revenge. She
would provide for his captors as freely as any other. The epitome of pure
goodness, a holy apathy.
On dark, still nights when Thezheshah is alone with her thoughts.. these
ideas keep her at peace.o
Quick updates, disappearance explained

Following a chance encounter with an overly friendly musician in the newly
discovered caverns beneath Ostalagiah, Thezheshah headed back to the Underdark
in search of her sibling. The journey cost her more than she anticipated.
She spent months spent observing, tracking, looking for signs of his
survival. The lyricist said he was wounded, possibly dead. But she wouldn't
listen. The harder she struggled against accepting this loss, the harder her
life became under the surface. Her stubbornness created the conditions for
her own personal Hell.
Luckily, she had the basic skills to make it through alive. She returns from
the depths a more mature woman, less weighted by the events of her past.. but
still shaped by it.
