Description

The man that stands before you is obviously Drow. He has long white hair that appears to be very well groomed. His face is not as attractive as other Drow, yet he seems to be just as arrogant. He carries himself with an self-assuredness as if he felt the world belongs to him. He stands just above five feet seven inches tall and has a very lean, muscular frame.

The Lady Yean has given me a task. A test of my greatness. I am to seek out some of the
lands mightiest rulers, destroy them and take their most prized magical possession. This
I have done. The most enlivening part of the test was destroying the Matron Mother.
My greatness has surely reached awesome heights after destroying the greatest house
in Teth Azeleth! In fact, my greatness has infected those in the village around me with
similar goals of grandeur. Though, I must admit, that dwarf Goroel, stout as he is, is
likely insane or has some sort of mental deficiency for thinking he will ever be greater
than I!

I have recently had a conversation with the Lady Yean. She seems to have taken an
interest in my greatness. She is quite wise on the topic and has offered words of advice on
how to improve upon it. This is most intriguing to me as her thoughts have sparked a
wildfire of ideas in my own head on how I can take my grandeur to a glorious new place.
How exciting these times are, indeed! The best part of this is that we see eye to eye on the
fact that my greatness belongs to me and is in my hands to control. I have taken her
words to heart and look forward to our next conversation.

It seems that the word of my greatness is beginning to spread. In the recent weeks
I have had offers from various religious factions trying to persuade me into their
ranks. It is obvious they see the benefit of having someone as great as I in their
ranks. Some, I must admit have been offers worth thinking on. I shall have to
consider and see what the future brings. Especially since it seems Enlilth is most
assuredly in some sort of gluttonous drinking binge during this time of greatness.

it is beginning to happen. Just as I had forseen. My enemies are starting to respect
the strength of my blades. That means that they begin to fear them. Ah, the power of
fear, how great this feeling is.

It has been sometime since I last wrote in this journal. The war has kept me busy and
bloody these last few years of my life. I have gained greatly in my skill and strength,
though I have paid dearly for costly lessons in combat. I can say confidentially that I have
become one of the very best swordsmen in the lands. Despite this skill, my enemies are
great, and they often come at me in numbers. I am beginning to learn the best tactics for
each situation as my victories are starting to mount. I am confident that those lessons,
costly as they were, will help me reach the heights of power I strive for. Thus far, my
blades have faired very well against magi. My power over them is proven, and for that I
am quite proud.

I participated in the Rites of War for leadership of the Village last year. I was still not at
the full strength of my skill within my guild, yet, I thought I did very well, even if the
Village Lords did not. After all, I defeated the one who was to be named Commander
quite handily in one on one combat, and could still to this day. To this day I still feel the
burn of jealously over the power the Commander wields, yet, I know I must be patient.
There are certainly other ways to gain what I desire.

I have seen many adventurers about the lands who have gained so much recognition that
they are known by their full name far and wide. I renounced my last name when I slew
my family, yet, that kind of recognition might be nice. Perhaps, I will take a new one, or
even more so, perhaps I'll gain one through my reputation.

When I was younger the imperial mage Melkrimszo bested me in combat with the help of
demons from the underworld. Since that day the infernal man has taunted me all the
while hiding behind the strength of these otherworldly creatures. Today, I exacted my
revenge on him as he was even under the protection of one these creatures! I find it
pathetic and weak that someone would use magic to bind creatures against their will to
fight their battles for them. And yet, my blades proved to be stronger than magic once
again! To add even greater pleasure to this act of destruction and revenge, it was
witnessed by the great lord Enlilth, and he displayed his approval. My rise to greatness is
inevitable. It happens with each and every act such as this. I look forward to my next
Victory that proves my worth to the great lord and the Village. As it seems, this battle has
shown my worth to the Lady Yean and she granted me a place in the Village!

I recently witnessed a man doing battle who was from the Village of the Battleragers.
What a fierce warrior he was! He had this ability to deliver blows that were with many
times the force of a normal man. Such power! I must learn this ability. I think that
considering my lust for killing magi and the power and abilities this village can offer, that
I will join their ranks. They are supposed to have a Commander who I must see, but, he
seems to be an absentee leader. What a fool! That is a sure path to lose the power he has
gained in the Village. I envy him for his position, but, despise the fact that he so
obviously doesn't care for it. I slew another mage a few days ago, and the feeling of
power I felt when my blades destroyed the wizard was just as exhilarating as when I
killed my family. I believe that I can rise to great heights on this path.

I also recently pledged myself to the great Lord Enlilth. His religion appears to align with
my motivations and desires. I believe it will support me on the path to glory and
greatness. It had better be. I will not fail in my promise to Enlilth. Failure isn't even a
thought to me, yet, disappointment is.

It has been three months since coming to Galadon and joining the Warrior's Guild.
Things are going as well as can be expected, despite that defeat to that do-gooder warrior
whose name I won't even try to pronounce for fear of sounding like I'm drooling on
myself. Curse that coward for using magic to ambush me. Magic... It has been a thorn in
my side since I can remember.

I make this statement because it is essentially the reason why I make this conglomeration
of scum city my home. Yes, it was three months ago that I left my family. Well, 'left'
isn't exactly the correct word to use because I have no family left. I murdered them. I
destroyed them, and it felt good. No longer will I have to suffer their condescending
remarks and treatment because I was not talented with magic. Who did they think they
were anyhow? My parents fled the Drow City to the surface after a pathetic attempt to
gain power for our house. I can't blame them for lusting after power. I would have done
the same thing myself, however, I would have succeeded. I am convinced it was their
reliance on magic that caused them to fail in this endeavor. I find humor in the fact that it
was their utter faith in magic that ended up also causing their demise. I truly envied them
for the power that they wielded but also hated them for the way they treated me because I
could not wield that same power. Despite that envy for them, my hate was stronger and in
the end their magic was no match for my blades.

Yes... My blades. I have found the strength and power in my blades that I could not in
magic, and it is truly intoxicating. And the satisfaction of destroying my haughty mage
family was supreme. Perhaps, I will kill a few more wizards. Yes, I think I will. I think I
will find that same satisfaction I did in killing my family.
