Description
A short, powerfully built fire giant looms before you. Thick, leathery skin
of a deeply-hued crimson is covered in short, curly black hair over most of
his body, giving him an almost scaly look. Insidious black eyes that flicker
with surprising acumen and cunning are framed by sharp, thick black eyebrows
that are split by a flat, mashed nose. Heavy arms corded so thickly with
muscles they give him an almost comical, hunch-backed look dangle from his
sides, yet he moves with deadly grace beyond one of his bulk. Hands calloused
and worn, with sharp, almost talon-like nails seem strong and powerful. His
heavy muscled torso rests on short, stocky legs that give him a lower center
of gravity then most of his people. Beyond his appearance, this fire giant
bears a malevolence beyond what words can place.

Thuros the Ruffian

This new land is soft, it is not hard like the life I knew. Many speak of
power. But do any know of the hunger? To ask shows weakness. I will listen
and remember the hunger, always the hunger. Maybe the truth will be known.
Still the hunger. Ever the hunger.
Thuros the Knight of Pain
Added Tue Jun 21 23:26:12 2005 at level 29:
Thuros is a relentless, stubborn foe. He serves Beroxxus, and believes
himself one of the truly damned to suffer for all eternity. Destruction is
his goal, destruction of all the weak of the lands. He has joined the Scions
of the Eternal Night because he has felt the power and calling of the
prophecy, a pull that he cannot comprehend, but knows for certain will come
to fruition.
Pain reminds him he is alive. It is the pain that he revels in. His own pain,
but most importantly the pain of the weak. He takes his defeats badly, he
curses overmuch, and tends to throw tantrums like an enraged child, and all
of these are how he shows his pain outwardly.
The hunger reminds him he is alive. A hunger beyond words, a hunger to see
the prophecy come true, to see the Ccul'gra enter the lands and sweep over
them like a dark blanket. For now he must ignore the hunger, for those of
light, The fortress, the Outlander and even the Village all hold strength. He
knows this will not be for all time and continues to endure his suffering.
