Description
A very large menacing figure towers before you
He seems to be about thirteen feet in height, with the most striking
Feature being the head of the bull growing seemingly without a neck
Out of a muscled body that looks perfectly human if not for the size.
The skin is either very tan or naturally dark, and the large
Cowlike eyes are pitch black, matching the large flowing hair
That extends down below the shoulders. The hair is not only
Covering the head, but can be seen on the large arms and legs.
Role
Background
Added Wed Jan 13 19:19:15 2010 at level 1:
Growing up without knowing the parents, and shunned by most everyone,
Tisan did not have any friends and was on his own in the streets of Seantryn.
Thus, he learned to survive and develop the art of street fighting out of necessity.
That craft was done using daggers, so that became his obsession.
However, fighting just because it was necessary did not turn his heart to the Darkness.
In fact, as he grew up and learnt of the way he came to this world, he swore never to procreate.
And he also shunned needless fighting and developed a knack for helping those who
Are picked on in numbers, as he was in his childhood, and, to some extent, still.
When it was five on one, the one had no chance. However, with Tisan, it was two on five,
And with some skillful dagger play it was soon two on four or less.
The Island
Added Thu Jan 14 22:12:21 2010 at level 15:
As Tisan grew up a bit and taken to travels around Thera,
He took note of all the different factions that proclaimed to have the
Truth, that only their version and interpretation of it is correct.
They are always too willing to draw a sword or a spell and charge on
Those that don't share their beliefs. Curiously, that tends to happen
When they have the numbers, when they could pick on the less represented.
It does not matter much whether they're of the Light or Dark, Chaos or Order,
All walks are guilty of this. All except one. The Island seeks to do what
Is right and dear to my heart, for I know full well what it means to be
Singled out and picked on by many, sometimes way too many.
Thus I have pledged my life and my dagger before the Nexus Island.
Last name
Added Sun Jan 17 20:11:03 2010 at level 19:
Tisan has no parents as far as he considers.
Tisan will not pass down his name to a heir.
No last name was ever given to Tisan.
He is Nameless.
An unusual intelligence
Added Sun Feb 14 19:16:20 2010 at level 27:
Since traveling mostly alone, Tisan had quite a bit of time all to himself.
During his travels, in order to better research the ways of the world,
He has learnt to read and write and has studied numerous books.
Therefore his good manners and unusually intelligent and vell-versed speech
Should not come as a surprise. Sadly, it does due to the presumption that
A speaking disorder is linked somehow to the basic intelligence.
The weapons of skill
Added Fri Apr 9 22:06:41 2010 at level 40:
Tisan chose to use the daggers and the whips with flails because they need training
And precision in order to be employed effectively. And in overcoming himself in order to
Gain that level of precision requires sacrifice, but makes the subsequent moves learnt and inherent.
Thus the move for the enemy's hamstring flows naturally, as hopefully the wrapping of a whip
To restrain an enemy will follow soon. These are not the choices for the faint of heart,
For it's very difficult to defend oneself against the blows. Tisan decided to rely upon
Cleverness and outmaneuvering that almost no one expects from a minotaur in order for
That to be made a point of pride, and to win by skill, not brute force.
Slight injustice
Added Sat Apr 17 13:30:59 2010 at level 49:
It is surprising to find myself booted off the Island for no particular reason.
However, I am only sad and not bitter, and also disappointed I cannot
Currently help the Balance or even know the Balance reliably.
I guess the real reason is that I am not a God of War like many may suppose.
It is often extremely difficult to fight the Ragers with no protections,
Stemming from the fact that mages of the Island ask me to bond with them.
Naturally, I often don't gain anything from that and have learnt to be
Very careful, preferring to fight the Village with Vanguard and not bond.
It just so happened that I was two blows away from death when I fled and
Left Massok. Why he continued to pursue commander after that is beyond me.
Why I was then removed from the Island is also beyond my rational ability to
Comprehend. The only guess is that some people are really mad when they die.
Of course, I will continue to help the Island to the best of my ability.
The reinstatement
Added Tue May 4 22:50:16 2010 at level 51:
Thankfully, the injustice has been corrected.
I am happy to be back home at the Island doing my usual.
However, it saddens my heart that the cause of Balance and the Veil
Has taken a side track to remove me.
