Life as a young giant in the Frozen Gorge was full of action with never a
dull moment as there was always many things happening. All the youngsters
would sit up on the cliffs and watch as the rangers returned from their
hunt wolves by their side with pelts and food in plenty. Warriors always
bragging about their conquests comparing tales of victory and woe over
lots of drinking. Fights breaking out over who did what and when, who was
the strongest or bravest. Those serious disputes were resolved once and
for all on the circle of frozen runes with bloodied fierce combat where
only one would walk out still standing. Warriors were also always
training throughout the gorge with a huge assortment of weapons spread
out on racks around the grand circle. In my youth when I was not training
with others or watching a melee I would sit waiting for my father, a
savage hunter very well known in the gorge to return from his sojourn.
Late in the evening he would return with wolves by his side loaded with
furs and sundry ready to tell his stories of the hunt over many barrels
of ale.
Years went by and when I finally came of age he began taking me with him
on his hunts. He trained me in a variety of weapons and how to use them
and passed on to me all of his knowledge and experience of the many
skills of the hunt. I learned to use all the natural things in the wilds
to survive and live. All that we needed the forest and mountains provided
for us be it food, weapons, water or shelter. I was an excellent pupil
and became an accomplished forester able to take down any game be it in a
giant boar in the forest or a horned adult goat tracked through a high
frost windblown mountain.
Much time had passed and I had began to venture alone without my father.
I had learned much from him and now I lived for the hunt and the
adrenaline rush I felt when doing such it was a part of me. But to the
north a change was coming from slaves living within or using these cities
spreading their pollution in all directions destroying the wilds and
grounds where we could hunt. They were blind to their destruction with
each new season expanding further, their black sooted buildings and stone
laid roads were slowly destroying all wilds in their wake. I had always
been wary to avoid their man made roads and vile cities but my anger had
grown now beyond words. No longer would I stand aside. My prey would now
be cast over a wider net destroying all those bound to these cities and
their pointless, pathetic way of life. Whether they knew it or no they
had now become the hunted

Many years have passed since I took my leave from my kin and the gorge. I
set out to stop the spread of cities, their slaves within and the plague
they spread. Little did I know the extent to which this pollution had
spread accross the lands eradicating all wilds in its destructive path. I
knew alone I could only do so much until I learned of the Outlanders and
all those within with goals similar to my own. Well some of them the
Wardens were only interested in nurturing the wilds but the Reavers were
like myself set out to burn the cities and roads and destroy all those
within. After speaking with the Nightreaver he realised my potential and
I was granted to join their pack. Now together we were very strong and
would together burn the cities, turn those within to corpses to feed
Thar-Eris and leave only desolation in our wake.
