Description

Before you stands the formidable form of a fire giant. Standing well over 10 feet in height, she appears almost as broad as she is tall. A massive plume of wild, fiery orange hair cascades down her well-muscled back and powerful, rounded shoulders. Her skin is is a deep, matte-black color and is riddled with battle scars of various shapes and sizes. Her eyes are a solid black color, peering out from under her brow like two gleaming orbs of obsidian. Light armor and chain do their best to cover her ample bosom, but there is quite a bit of "spillage" occurring regardless. Her features are hard to make out due to the darkness of her skin, but you do notice that she has a slender, pointed nose and her full lips appear to be stained crimson. Her strong, callused hands root themselves around her weapon of choice and a shield, both of which she seems rather comfortable with. Covered in a patchwork of various pelts, you can tell she is attempting to keep warm in her foreign, flame-free environment.

Role

Fire and Frost

Giants, the first creations of the Gods... Fallen from favor and forced 
to slumber, so they did for many years. Eventually, the storm giants and 
cloud giants would wake, whilst the fire giants continued to slumber on. 
Sensing the more compassionate giants' return, the Dark Gods stirred the 
earth, creating an impossible environment for the fire giants to continue 
their sleep. Rising in chaos and strife, it would become their duty to 
visit the same upon the more fortunate giants of the lands.

Many of the ancient fire giants remained in their resting spot, within 
the volcanic mountain of Kiadana-Rah. Others, however, would form tribes 
consisting of their immediate bloodlines and continue the tradition of 
wreaking havoc and spreading war through the lands, just as they were 
bred to. The Tokhan-Rah bloodline was one such tribe.

Following the ancient traditions and abiding by the One Law alone, those 
of the Tokhan-Rah bloodline are never satisfied with any amount of war or 
bloodshed, just as their ancestors before them. Staying true to 
tradition, each generation would venture back to Mount Kiadana-Rah to 
learn more of their roots. 

This year, it was Trunkarra's turn to make the trip back. Trekking up the 
mountain, to her great enjoyment she saw an army of storm giants marching 
on the mountain. Weaving through the troops, she made her way into the 
volcanic tunnels to prepare for the battle at hand. Looking around 
herself, she noticed only a few of the weaker patrollers at the front 
lines... All the most powerful fire giants of the most ancient bloodlines 
remained in the depths cowering instead of bringing the fight to the 
storm giants. The One Law was all but dead here, and so too was 
Trunkarra's faith in the modern day fire giants.

Disgusted, Trunkarra left the mountain and its inhabitants to their 
demise... Vowing to not only continue to spread war and ensure constant 
strife throughout the lands while honoring the One Law, but to also pick 
up the slack and punish the fire giants that have forgotten their way.

Concluding that the waking of the frost giants was a direct result of the 
fire giants' failures, Trunkarra now seeks out the blessing of the Lord 
of the frost giants, Jormyr, confident that their views would align.

Thar-Eris and the One Law

Realizing that civilization has coddled and protected the worthless 
masses for far too long, Trunkarra has decided that it was time to 
relieve Thera of its safety blanket. Just as the Gods made the homes of 
the fire giants distressful to drive them from their slumber, Trunkarra 
would exact the same on those that rely so much on the comforts of the 
cities.

Returning the lands to its ancient, primitive state (referred to as 
Thar-Eris by some) would bring the One Law back to the forefront in a 
reality where every day is a fight for survival. Thrilled by the war that 
would take place while wrestling the cities away from those that cling to 
it so dearly just as much as the end result, Trunkarra thrives in such an 
environment. The flames and pain will drive its inhabitants to fight back 
or die, both of which are favorable outcomes in the eyes of Trunkarra.

Growth

Trunkarra is obsessed with war and becoming the strongest possible in the 
hope that she will both honor her diety, the Lord of Strife, and to 
become a beckon to the fire giants that have lost their way. Although she 
acknowledges she is not the strongest in Thera currently, improvement is 
constantly on her mind and she manages to find strength even in her own 
defeat, as the struggle drives her harder. 

When she is not in combat, she is either reflecting on it or preparing 
for it. When she heads to rest, her idea of relaxation is painting combat 
scenes from her recent skirmishes-- most of which also contain some kind 
of semblance of her Lord, Jormyr, included in some way.

Trunkarra inevitably sees herself as the Nightreaver, even if it means 
that she must exert her dominance and wrestle it from another when the 
time is right.
