Description
A lithe man is here, keeping to the cover of the terrain around him. He
appears to be muscular, athletic and nimble. Covered from head to toe
in tight black leather, that seems to be very thin as it allows for a
great range of movement. He wears a cloak around his shoulders that
looks to imitate fallen leaves and foliage. His face is difficult to
discern as a bandana obscures all but his cold grey eyes. Looking into
those eyes seems to evoke a sense of mystery and acute intelligence.
Long auburn hair, the color of healthy soil hangs down to his shoulder
and is tied out of his eyes by another green bandana. He looks quite
comfortable in the wilderness, which is strange for those of his guild.
Several serrated daggers are sheathed upon his left leg, and a katana of
what seems to be fine craftsmanship upon his right hip.
Upon closer inspection you notice..

The Beginning

Tsigu began his life in Hamsah Mu'tazz, and as a youngster began to train
under the tutelage of the Assassin guildmaster there. He always had the
spirit of a trickster, and at a very young age plying his craft, thought
it funny to tie a Magistrates bootlaces together from what he thought
were the shadows he had been instructed to keep to. Unfortunately for
Tsigu, his trick did not go unnoticed, and the magistrate caught him in
the act and threw him in a cell in the dungeon. Tsigu spent several
years locked up in the dungeons of Hamsah Mu'tazz and he grew to loathe
the feeling of being treated as a caged animal. One day, several years
into his incarceration - a man crept up to his cell, a cloak of leaves
obscuring his identity. He fiddled with the lock for a few moments, and
the cell door popped open. He motioned for Tsigu to follow, and
whispered 'Keep quiet.'. They crept down the halls of the dungeon
unnoticed in the middle of the night and as they neared the stairs, two
motionless bodies of guards lay at the floor lifeless. Together they
hastened up the flight of stairs, and out into the city of Hamsah
Mu'tazz. Once free of eavesdroppers, and prying eyes - the man who
rescued Tsigu introduced himself as Setiwan Wildoak. Setiwan took Tsigu
into the Forest of Prosimey and offered him an apprenticeship. He would
teach Tsigu to live off the land, and survive in the wilderness and also
act as his instructor in the arts of the Assassin's Guild. Tsigu could
not pass up this opprotunity to continue his training and free of the
confines of civilization which had seemingly failed him, and become the
root of his suffering. Never again would he be caged like an animal, but
instead live free like a beast of the wilds. His sensei informed him of
the great Tree in the heart of the Prosimey woods, and the Outlanders who
dwelt there and advised that Tsigu might seek them out.
Outlander at last!

After seeking out those of the Refuge, Tsigu met Ceth a druid and
sentinel. Ceth instructed Tsigu to seek out three meteors scattered
about in the forests of Thera. Tsigu searched high and low, and
eventually found all three of the meteors. Placing his hand upon each
stone revealed visions of the ancient History of the Sylvans. Of
Amaranthe, and Joheem, and Lyristeon. Awakened ancients of the past.
Tsigu became intrigued by the mysteries presented by the ancient places
hidden in the wilds of Thera. There was more to living in the woods than
survival, and freedom - and he was quite thankful that something stirred
deep within his belly. A craving for knowledge had stirred within him
and he embarked to seek out and find places otherwise unknown to him, and
perhaps lost to time itself. He met with Ryh, the Harbinger of the Tree
and after lengthy questioning and some explanations, Ryh agreed to let
Tsigu join the Refuge and defend Thar-Eris as a sentinel. A world of
possibilities opened up before Tsigu, and he became filled with a desire
to explore all the wild places of Thar-Eris, and learn the long forgotten
secrets. He felt emboldened as a protector of the tree's and the soil,
and never once thought to look back upon his days as a city dwelling boy.
He would smite the enemies of Thar-Eris from the cover of the tree's and
bring War to the Spire, the Empire and anyone else who sought to further
encroach upon the wilderness. Tsigu was not unreasonable though, in his
travels he had befriended a storm giant, by the name of Fithgrummr.
Albeit a bit greener than himself, Tsigu and the giant became fast
friends. Tsigu spent much of his time travelling with the giant trying
to convince him to give up his use of coin, and to learn to depend on
himself in the wilds for survival. Fithgrummr seemed to be keen on the
idea, and Tsigu told him to seek out the Sunwarden if he was serious
about the endeavor. Tsigu came to the realisation that as much as War
might cleanse Thar-Eris of the disease that is civilization - it would be
up to those of the Tree to teach people to once again live in harmony
with Thar-Eris and survive without the comforts or commodities of
civilization.
