Description
Tall and quite muscular, Tweedrron is noticeably larger than the average
arial. Widespread wings keep his sharp talons hovering just above the
ground. At first glance, he is reminiscent of a black eagle. Pitch-black
feathers cover most of his body, with a few streaks of mahogany. Down his
back and tail, the mahogany streaks become a deep red. On the undersides
of his wings, a few feathers are burnt orange. All his feathers have been
lightly oiled and glisten when light hits them. His long, curved beak comes
to a sharp point at the end. There is a hostile glare in his black, beady
eyes. Quick flaps of his wings propel him around nearly instantly. Covered
in armor and strapped with weapons, Tweedrron is clearly a ready for war.
Role
Sugar's Son
Added Fri Mar 26 21:41:29 2021 at level 11:
Mistress Cinnamon is well known in Ayr'Trinil but few know about her sister,
Sugar. Business disagreements led Sugar to split from Cinnamon and to try
starting her own brothel in Hamsah Mu'Tazz. Sugar was a miserable failure.
It didn't take long before she was hooked on opium and working for a pimp
instead of running her own business. When some arial royalty came to visit
the sultan, some of the Zrynk'Alyl they brought along for protection decided
to buy some time with Sugar. An arial gestation period later, Tweedrron came
into being in the typical arial fashion.
Growing up in a den of dope addicted damsels, imprisoned by a flesh-peddling
conjurer's extra-planar minions, Tweedrron hated life and wanted nothing more
than to escape. The chance was provided to him by a dark-elf defender from
the village. After slowly whittling down the conjurer, patching his wounds
while fending off magical minions with a steel spear, the drow held a hatchet
and spilled the mack mage's guts all over a priceless rug that had just been
cleaned earlier that morning. Sugar and the strumpets were more worried about
pillaging the poppy pile than being free, so Tweedrron headed out on his own.
Having heard stories that his father was a member of the royal guard in Ayr'-
Trinil, Tweedrron went there to rally his race to free Sugar and the Hamsah
harlots from the concubine keeping conjurer. He was quickly anathematized by
the Zrynk'Alyl for being the son of a streetwalker and denied any bloodline
rights. Even Aunt Cinnamon was indifferent to her sultry sister's pimpy
plight. When he sought the higher-ups of arial society, it became clear to
him the entire city was corrupted by magic, just like Hamsah Mu'tazz.
Blaming magic for his mother's misfortune and his kin's contempt, Tweedrron
joined the warrior's guild and vowed to get revenge. Full of anger and hate,
he has set out to destroy mortal magic users. He seeks the village so he can
learn to fight just like that hustler hacking dark-elf defender did in the
dope den of the damned when the regarded rug was ruined (by conjurer entrails,
the one that had just been cleaned).
Character Notes
Added Wed Apr 14 19:53:35 2021 at level 34:
Personality traits:
Honest, blunt, direct, angry, cruel, sadistic.
Attitude towards mages:
Mages are a dangerous version of opium junkies.
Just kill them, don't bother trying to teach or change them.
Attitude towards non-mage non-villagers:
Doesn't trust anyone outside of the village.
Very firm and aggressive in his anti-magic stance.
Would rather threaten others not to use magic than be diplomatic about it.
Acts like a Zrynk'Alyl bully to pretty much everyone.
Attitude towards village:
Wants other villagers to like him.
They are the only ones he'll act friendly with.
Thinks defenders are the best:
-berskers don't think enough.
-scouts don't fight enough.
Takes his job very seriously.
Attitude towards Thera:
Thinks he is saving the world from magic.
Wants to explore, for tactical purposes.
Dislikes arials more than other races, generally speaking.
Attitude towards Immortals:
Great respect and trust for village immortals.
Respect, but no trust for non-village immortals.
Decided to seek Panmorne for further guidance.
Igathix and Qesha
Added Thu May 27 22:36:08 2021 at level 51:
Tweedrron and Qesha rushed into a retrieval attempt in the orc village
together. After two shapeshifters flew down from the sky and aided the orc
chieftain in defeating them, Qhesha blamed Tweedrron for the defeat. Then
she continued to insult him and boss him around.
Qhesha had mouthed off to Tweedrron before, but he let it slide. Now,
it was time to prove a point. Remembering the commandments, he called Qhesha
to the circle. After her defeat, she was only asked to show some manners and
the matter would be forgotten. Unable to handle the humiliation, she went
into hiding.
When the Commander found out, he immediately told Tweedrron he was wrong
without even asking what had really happened.
Shortly after, the Commander scolded Tweedrron for not answering a pop quiz
question about the commandments while Tweedrron was fighting Asaigai and
living the commandments. It was especially angering to Tweedrron because he
has seen Igahtix refues to fight Asaigai on several occansion, but Tweedrron
is not afraid of the shapeshifter.
The final problem Tweedrron sees with the commander is cowardice. He has
heard from multiple non-mage enemies that the Commander will take refuge in
the village, violating commandment 6. The orcs say this cowardice is why they
continue to take the head from the village.
Tweedrron has never spoken poorly of the Commander to any enemy, but has grown
tired of sticking up for him. For these reasons, he is calling for a new rites
of war, even though he thinks it may cost him his hut. In his mind, he is
doing what is best for the village.
Banished and Vindicated
Added Mon May 31 12:45:46 2021 at level 51:
Tweedrron's opposition to the Commander quickly got him banished from the
village. This proved to Tweedrron that Igathrix is not worthy to lead the
village and he suspects the Commander may be a spy like Grakkor was. It is
his duty as a defender to get his hut back and expose Igathrix as a fraud,
while still fighting mages as best he can.
