Description

A demonic figure encompassed by fiery brimstone towers over you. Emitting a noxious fume from his body, a wave of searing heat tarnishes his surrounding with an inferno unseen in this world. Deep within the crevices of his fused helm, bloodshot red Unperturbed globes of pure energy peer out from twin slots, attempting to wither his sight with pure vehemence. Ending just above the cracked skin of his mouth where a solemn snarls displays his attitude of the surrounding, the helm molds around his head, giving the appearance of a hellish golem. Large pieces of rubbish protrudes from the fiery lava encompassing his body. They mold and fit together into a semblance of a pattern, interwoven with various mystical symbol that fluctuate with a dark red light. Drawn to the center of his body, the mystical patterns reach the symbol of a violet spider. Unlike the luminance of magic throughout the construct, the core of the symbol swirls in a pitch black orb, devoid of any light. Despite the variance of patterns, the fluency of the symbols and the care placed on them gives the impression of an automotous construct. Only the occasional spluttering of fire and the cruel menacing glare validates a sentient being.

Illegal name, try another.
Name: of sentience, which expanded over
time, grew into life, death, chaos and order. The sentience still
existed, although it was stretched thin, and soon the various parts
of the sentience became disconnected, defused throughout it's children.
Thus came the conflicts, the bickles, and the eventual wars.

After K'teng's failed war with Darsylon, she stewed within the
Underdark, gathering what remained of her lost power, creating
creatures to serve her. Forbidden magic and art had always been her
power, the deep darkness within her mind uncovering sparkles of
unfathomable magic, passageways and tunnels to the greatest of
divine. One of her excusions led her deep into the levels of the
Underdark within Aran'gird, where horrors untold awaited.

Various pierces of everburning lava lied among the section of the
Underdark. The tunnel was charred and the heat fazed even the
mightiest of dragons. Etched into the wall were shadows of duergars,
screaming in horror as a blaze imprinted their shadow in an
everlasting scream of horror.

"So this is where the mighty beast fell...."

K'teng grinned sadiciously as she loosened her ability. Focusing
her powers, a single piece of lava, uncontaminated, flew into her
cloak before she blinked from existance once again.

Within her laboratory, K'teng brought out the piece of lava she so
coveted. Placing it within a giant cauldron of the raw essence of
magic, boiling, churning, and yearning for escape, the molten lava
grew brightly. A loud bestial roar erupted from the stone, slowly
overcome by the magic that overcame its rage. Both the piece of
stone and the raw essence of magic became quiet, an internal
struggle focusing their outrage...

Within the surface, as K'teng pursued her ambitions of immortality,
the piece of lava consumed the raw essence of magic. Slowly it
mutated, growing in shape and form, the outrage once instilled in
it quieting by the aeons of K'teng's manipulation. The stone
dissipated within the cauldron, it's sentience spread throughout
the liquid until it did not know who or what it was...

K'teng, aged from the powerful magic she wields and near ghostly
through the unbridled power emerging from her core, approaches
the cauldron. Weaving her hands and speaking ancient words of power,
role + the liquid in the cauldron gathered together, being twisted
and molded through K'teng's control, until it resembled the form
of a demonic giant. The blank stare within its eyes, long since
dormant and tamed by K'teng's will, followed its Mistress.

"My greatest golem. My greatest creation."

Lifegiver

Many aeons passed as the golem existed in the service of K'teng.
It had no thought, no ability, and no conscience besides the
indomitable need to serve the will of it's mistress. Time had
no meaning to the golem, as it did not to it's trapped mistress.
Adventurers and heroes came and went, seeking K'teng's secrets.
Woe to those who caught the golem's sight.

A blinding flash of light erupted in the surface. Kharia had
performed the Ghost Dance, seeking to instill herself into the
strongest source of magic. The dust and air within K'teng's
laboratory shuddered as the thick coat of magic in the air
trumpeted Twist's awakening. As did the long dormant magic
that created the golem. Ancient memories ripped away from the
original piece of lava struggled to come to the surface,
battling with the programming instilled by K'teng. Ferocious
urges shook the foundation of the golem, and slowly it came
to life. Twist's reawakening had brought it's fated existance
to a standstill.

The first thought that arose from the mind of the golem was
anger. Rage at the last moments of it's life, where piddly
insects fought against it's great hulk and power. Rage a the
inconsequential abilities they held, until a great light
shafted it's heart, and it screamed of anger as those it once
thought inferior were burnt into the wall. The thousands of
years it's once mighty conscience slowly bled from it's
shattered form until only primal and animalistic urges were left.

Slowly this rage came to pass as the magic imbued within it
resonated with Twist's might. Confusion swirled in it's mind,
in his mind, and a new sentience emerged. A strange sense of
thirst and hunger brought groans from it's mouth, his throat,
and he began to wander the laboratory. Loud crunching sound
echoed from the once soundless hallways. It's great hulk was
balanced by the magic sputtering and coalescing in his mind.
He understood how he was used, manipulated, and toyed with by
K'teng...yet, K'teng's ability had given the chance for the
great beast to come back to life. However - it was the
Lifegiver, the source of Magic, that which was a passage to
power unseen, that brought it life. As he deemed K'teng
unworthy to serve, his reverence, still embedded his conscience
after ages of servitude, directed itself toward the Lifegiver,
Twist. Magic was the source of his life, the source of its
death, and in his unconscious mind, unknown to the current
sentience inhabitig the golem's hulk, the source of the great
beast's awakening. He decided to call himself Venecfis - the
name that those of Aran'gird chose to give the great beast.
