Description

Upon this man's forehead is a dot of ash and burnt flesh, pronouncing his fervor as he hides no pride in showing off his devotion to Morius. After averting one's gaze from the mark, his most striking feature is a magnificently groomed and decorated beard, with braided strands and embedded fine jewelry. Some would say his beard is better than any duergar or dwarf's beard. His hair is thick, wavy, and black with speckles of gray, reaching to the nape of his neck. Adorned in fine black leather clothing and polished armor with imperial insignias on display, he holds a high rank in the Imperia army. Age or life has not seemed to treat this man well, as his face seems withered in age, though his body is stout and he is quite well built with muscles larger than most humans. A stoic sense of pride and accomplishment seems to radiate from him, with a hint of malice seeping through. He stands well over six feet tall, and some of his armor seems a little tight in places due to his stature.

Nightmares and Orphanage, the son of a whore: Part 1

Vrimold, a boy who grew up to a mother who was a prostitute that died when
Vrimold reached adolescents. She died to disease that even the priests could
not cure in an awful way. This left Vrimold alone, but fortunately a private
orphanage took him in.

The Ardenwood Manor, an old place that had many valuables displayed about,
and the children were absolutely not to touch. I was one of the older
children in this orphanage, 15 cots lined up next to each other in a crappy
room. Always had me wondering why they had such an old raggedy house, yet all
these very nice things. Guess it didn't matter much, it was food and shelter,
but some of my best memories were toughening up those wimpy boys, and making
sure the girls treated me right, bringing my food when told them to. I made
sure they respected and feared me, the little whelps, knowing I was in
charge!

That place never did feel right though, always felt off, and that's also when
my nightmares started. How sick they were, and painful too, having my mother,
and her whore friends kissing on me and straddling me, keeping me entwined
like I couldn't escape. And their lips, how it burnt, writhing in pain as if
acid was poured on my skin. Though, worse than those dreams were the ones
where their eyes blazed like holy wrath, and they'd torture me with holy
wrath and power, so terrible that it felt like hours and days on end, only to
awaken in my own pool of urine and other disturbing fluids.

I hated that filthy woman, leaving me behind with her early death, and always
bringing those men to her bed, to take her! Pathetic whore, that's all she
was. I hated her, and felt even that all women were just tools to be used. I
hated feeling weak, and developed a pride and strength in myself that I was
more macho then all the others. That feeling of worthlessness, being used and
abused was no more. Maybe that's why it was so fun to beat the other kids in
the orphanage, to make them tough and understand not to be weak.

Orphanage burns, taverns and brawls, becoming the manliest man!: Part 2

After this continued for a few years, and I got closer to the age of becoming
a man, I remember one night, where the sky was clear. These odd motes of
lights appeared in the sky, like multicolored snow that faded before touching
the ground. It gave me a weird sensation, but a few touched me. It wasn't
long after this that the Orphanage burned to the ground and four weak wimps
died in that fire. Shoulda toughened up and been a real man, then maybe they
wouldn't have died, who knows.

With my home gone, and my years as a child nearly gone, I sought out bars and
taverns mostly, doing odd jobs, drinking my heart away, and fighting anyone
who challenged my manliness! So many good times, the drinking, the fighting,
the wenches doing their duty and bringing me my food like I was their king! I
met a man I brawled with who hired me into the warriors guild, where I began
my journey as an adventurer. Thought I could make good coin and do great
things so that all the other men would respect me, and I could boast and be
prideful of my triumphs, and make sure the women know their place, serving me
ale and meat, and kissing my boots, at least, that's what I was thinking
going into this, so I pursued it.

One thing that I did notice though, is life seemed a bit hazy at times, like
dreams and reality melded, but ever sense the orphanage burned down, those
dreams I had, have disappeared. With all the crap behind me, I could set out
to be the manliest man out there, and didn't mind putting anybody in their
place in such a pursuit.

A bit of growth in the world of fame and pride: Part 3

It's been awhile since I left the orphanage and joined the Empire, I've accomplished
quite a bit of manly things, and even gained the rank of Elite in the blade sect, 
swelling my pride a bit. I've gained a bit of maturity as age sets in a bit
and have found that even though I have a grudge against the lesser sex, I don't think all
are all terrible, some less worthless than the rest of them. 

Been feeling a bit odd towards Tristhana and I'm not knowing why she's growing 
on me in a way I don't understand, I don't treat her too nicely, but I travel 
with her, and would keep doing so, though I don't put any trust like that with any other wench.
Tristhana has been telling me about this Father Morius, and saying I should visit their church.
Guess I could poke around, see what it's all about, and I already have
the knowledge that he'd be wanting me, just ain't showing themselves too desparate, who wouldn't
want a man like me, so manly with a great beard as I spreading his name.

At some point, it seemed like the Emperor might of been a strong man, but
he ain't guided by manliness and strength, and would settle with lesser ideals of not
pushing over those who don't take the oath and showing them the way. This bothers me a bit as
I feel it is lacking in the way of the Empire. Hopefully the Warmaster takes his place with the 
next vote.

I met with the lord Gaspare, even for a brief moment, and only for their leisure of making 
use of my corpse. A pain to my pride losing that bout with that scion mage, but pride keeps 
strong even in defeat, as that's the manliest way of overcoming.
