Description
Before you is the short form of a male svirfneblin, standing barely four foot
in height. He is portly for his kind, hinting at a life of easy living and
rich foods. The clothes he wears, though made of fine material, seem frayed
and worn, the result of hard times. Dirt and soot cover him from nearly head
to toe, and his gray eyes shift back and forth quickly like a hunted animal.
A multitude of pouches hang from his waist, and several bulge more then the
others but most appear to be quite empty.

Waldali was born the only son of a wealthy supply merchant in the svirfneblin city of Blingdenstone.
His mother died in child birth so he grew up alone, spoiled by his wealthy father and grew accostomed
to all these expensive. At the age of 20 his father made him partners in the family business and Waldali's
wealth grew as well as his lust for more. Two short years later his father died an accidental death and
Waldali became sole owner of the business. He soon abolished his father's old way of business dealings,
figuring why sell a high quality product at low prices when he could see low quality at high prices.
Money began to pour into his coffers at such a rate that he soon opened more shops around the city, but
still he wanted more. He devised a plan to rob the warehouses of his competitors and sell their products
as his own, thus increasing his weath. However his plan soon went awry and one of his crews was captured
in the act, with a sole lookout escaping to warn Waldali. Explaining to him that his crew had ratted him
out and that a patrol was on it's way to arrest Waldali. Not one to pay for his crimes, Waldali set fire
to his office and fled into the night with just the clothes upon his back and a small coin purse, seeking
haven upon the Surface far above.
