Description

You see before you a huge barbarian male. He looks near seven feet tall and his massive hands grip equally huge hammers. Long unkempt blond hair is tied back and he has piercing blue eyes. His huge muscles ripple under a sparse covering of armor. He has a bearded face, with a haunted expression. A huge skin of some mighty beast covers his torso. His clothing and armor may not be of the finest cut nor forged by the most skilled master smith but looks well oiled and maintained. Woldgar grew up on the frozen tundra far south of the Fridgid Wastelands. 
His people are a nomadic barbarian tribe that hunt and gather following the
migrating game that also call this barren land home.  Woldgar's father,
Hargark Longstride is King of the tribe of the Giant, his rule is strong and
just, weakness does not live long in this place.  His people defend their
lands from wild beasts and maurauders.  It is a tough life, but a life none
the less.   At fifteen years old Woldgar is the spitting image of his father,
seven feet tall, corded muscles and long blond hair, although less scarred
than his dad.

One day a grizzled man stepped forward and addressed the King. "King
Hargark, our clan is strong, we of the Giant should rule this land."
he yelled  "The other clans should kneel before us.  The clans of 
the Elk and Hawk are weak and we would crush them."

"Enough Keldarm" said King Hargark rising to his feet, "We will not go to war
with our Brother Clans.We defend these land from the Dragons to the North. 
The clan of the Hawk defend against the Wyverns in the mountains far to the
east and the clan of the Elk battle the Trolls to the south. If we war
among ourselves then we leave these lands open to the beasts that would
seek to destroy us."

"You are weak Hargark, and can not see the future, I envoke Battle Rite and
"For too long you have disrupted the clan Keldarm, now it is time to put you
in your place." said the King stepping forward.

The titanic battle ensued.   Keldarm was a few inches shorter than the king,
and perhaps not as strong.  Blow after blow was rained uppon each combatant,
two huge warriors pitted into a battle to decide the fate of the Clan. 
Slowly the king began to tire. Keldarm seemed not to slow at all, he even
seemed to tower over the king near the end of the fight.  With quickness
uncanny for someone well over six feet tall, Keldarm dodged a mighty crushing
blow directed at him by the King.  He grabbed the King in a headlock and with
a mighty heave snapped the neck of the King, who fell to the  ground
lifeless.


"Now I am your King"  Yelled Keldarm "We go to War!"

Discovery

Woldgar was shocked so see his father slain right before his eyes. He would
soon be angered by what he was about to discover.


The clan went and prepaired quickly for war, too shocked by what had happened
to their loved King to think about the path that the new King Keldarm was
leading them onto was wrong and could lead to disaster.The clan of the
Giant was the strongest of the three clans, however when they fell uppon the
clan of the Elk in battle fury they were overwealmed as the Clan of the Hawk
came from behind to ally with the Clan of the Elk. The Clan of the Giant was
able to retreat having lost fully half of their numbers in the battle of the
Clans.  The winter was a tough one and the Clan had barely enough food to last
until the Spring thaws came and with it more game to hunt.


Woldgar trained hard so as he could challenge Keldarm when he turned sixteen
and could revenge his father. Woldgar did challenge Keldarm, and they fought
a mighty battle with the whole Clan secretly hoping that Woldgar would
prevail and rid them of this evil, stupid tyrant.  Woldgar was defeated, and
barely survived.  He did however discover that he was unable to fight due to
his muscles seizing up, and Keldarm's unnatural speed and strength was being
heightened by the aid of a Mage Transmuter.  Woldgar was taken out of the
clan and left for dead in the barren wasteland.He was sickened that his
father had been beaten and slain by a warrior that was enhanced by a filthy
mage.  He vowed to live, and one day come back and defeat Keldarm and claim
back the Clan, and revenge his Father. Woldgar managed to slowly heal his
wounds while heading north, hunting game and eating what carrion he could
find in the wastelands.He eventually came across the Felar encampment where
he was able to barter for supplies and food. Woldgar eventually found his way
to Galadon, where he joined the Guild of Warriors, that he might hone his
skills and become a true warrior of body, and mind and find strength in
himself to return to his homeland.
