Description

Towering in front of you at 13 feet in height is a bull like creature with a humanoid body. Its head shapes alot like a wild buffalo's head. A pair of black horns protrudes out from atop of its head, curvy, sharp, and extends 2 feet into the air. Its thick, long black hair is tied into a ponytail and rest lightly behind its neck. Its ears are large, brownish in color, and hairy. There are thick brows that cover half of its big round eyes, leaving only a hint of its black pupils which stare intently at you. There are thick scars that run across its cheek, telling you of the hardships the creature must have been through. On its body are numerous layers of armors, thick and thin, protecting it from various danger.

Role

A fated life.

Xong StrongHorn and his minotaur comrades had been putting up a defense 
for days now, protecting their village from the invading imperials 
but to little success. The Empire's forces outnumbered the minotaurs' 
militia tenfold.  In addition to that, the heavy weaponry the 
imperials brought against the village's primitive poles shattered any 
morale the bulls have left in hope of defending their little village 
west of SeanTryn Modan. Nevertheless, the minotaurs fought courageously, 
and was wiped out without any mercy. The imperial soldiers then captured 
alive a few strong bulls and lock them in the cells of the Buzzing 
Hornets, the Empire's flagship, to bring them back to the motherland for 
bragging rights and to make the bulls into slaves. It was known that 
minotaurs make good laborers due to their strength and size.  However, 
Xong's life was meant for something else other than being an imperial 
slave. 

On its way to Hamsah Mutazz, the imperial warship was attacked by pirates. 
It was the most vivious bunch of pirates Xong have ever witnessed. One 
lucky cannon ball took flight and landed in his cell, opened a hole just 
big enough for the bull to crawl out into the middle of the Open Sea. 
Hanging on to his life, Xong grabbed on to a piece of drift wood floating 
nearby as the waves took him far away from the battle sight. With three 
days floating on the Open Sea without food and water, the weary bull 
accepted his fate as he closed his eyes, awaiting his judment day. 

Xong must have passed out under the intense heat for a long time, for
when he opened his eyes again, he was at a strange place, on a floating
island. Beside him was the entrance to a grand hall, with a stout 
guardian protecting its entrance. The guardian told Xong of a gnomish 
scholar who found the him near death on the Sea, and brought Xong here
to place under the guardian's care, whom was the gnomish scholar's old 
friend. As they talked, Xong learned about the guardian's life and his 
devotion to the cause he is guarding, the perservation of magic and 
balance. Xong did not have the answers to why he was spared death, but 
here he was, standing in front of a grand hall, with an urge to pledge
himself to the guardian and his cause, for saving his life.

Unveiling Iklahn Harmattan

The Commander Salyeris was found to be taken refuge inside her village.
Xong was nearby, he could feel his blood rushed heavily.  A bit of sweat
rolled down his temple as it always was before a great battle, when he
was getting ready for war. Axes sharpened and at the ready, Xong drank 
up his last magical vial he had saved for this occasion, and ran straight 
through the Ruins to the Village's stronghold. There she was, Salyeris
was there, standing proudly by their bloody giant. Xong could feel so 
deeply the slightly weakened veil, yearned to thin itself more and more. 
His heart raced faster as he threw his whole body at Salyeris, ready to 
chop the barbarian in half. Suddenly, Xong heard a voice from behind. 
In the midst of battle, it sounded alot like "Don't, Stop This." Confused, 
Xong glanced about to find the source of that voice when the minotaur 
found himself slammed forcefully into the terrain, by a woodsman whose 
appearance Xong immediately recognized. It was Iklahn Harmattan the Rhyme 
of Resistance. In the moment of confusion, the Commander Salyeris seized 
this opportunity and fled the battle scene, as Xong found himself slammed 
into the terrain repeatedly. In awe, the minotaur retreated quickly to the 
ruins to regain composure, and with conviction, Xong charged back to the 
Village, threw himself onto Iklahn and sealed the woodsman's fate, whom 
just save the island's most prized enemy from death. With the unfolding of 
this event, the Rhyme resigned Xong's post in the island, as if to cover up 
a plot between the Commander of the Village and the Rhyme of Resistance.
Xong pledged to himself that the island shall be protected from this new 
threat that might be the greatest threat of all, an enemy from within.
