Description
Standing before you is a medium sized being slightly hunched but
nearly upright as by human standards. This half-avian being is
covered from head to toe with dirt and debris over a large hooded
robe. A drab blend of green and brown provide a potent mixture
of forest tones. He has long sharp protrusions extending from his
fore-talons and hind-claws. Two massive wings covered in black and
silver feathers jut out sharply from his back and rise quite sharply.
From under the dark cowl of the robe are two deep yellow eyes with
crimson highlights. Aside from all this you notice...
Role
The Beginning, the Beliefs.
Added Thu Jul 8 11:11:00 2010 at level 19:
-Yaldran was born to a middle-aged prostitute whom left him within the
fields just beyond the Udgaard mountains.
-He managed to survive by being taken in by a young druid and nestled
within the bed of local sheep, providing milk to grow.
-His disdain for the cities began as a seed of contempt for a any society that
would allow a mother to do that to her son.
-His decision to leave the plains was one of momentary curiosity and had
he another option for a so-called home it would be otherwise.
-Although his spirit returns to the city of Galadon in the event of his death, he
considers the plains his true home.
-Giving out information to others is somewhat strategic, to him, no matter
how unorganized it may be, at least some rational is present.
-Deceiving those about him comes natural, and on many occasions he will
not provide the entire truth.
-His mannerisms are mostly normal, and his speech would be considered
normal for any human, even if at times a shriek or chortle escapes.
-As entropic as his thoughts may sometimes be, the consideration of
companionship doesn't escape him.
-Through his convictions he has came to accept the Outlanders of Thar-Eris
as his future kin, with whom to run with.
-Even though he doesn't understand all of the beliefs of the Outlanders or
the actions of their deities, he has chosen to follow the Gaping Maw.
The Howl Grows, Long and Loud.
Added Tue Jul 20 10:05:22 2010 at level 40:
-Twas not long ago that Yaldran's howl was low, and weak, barely able to
evoke any sensation in his enemy.
-It was many moons after his birth but few from now that the Ancient howl
brought him within the refuge and taught him this.
-A great deal of his battles take place within the confines of great cities,
Galadon in specific as it is the center for the Tribunal.
-One of his more memorable brawls is when he used the infernal plague he
picked up during battle to spread to every guard in town.
-While running in the wilds he has began to realize that one must use any
and all weapons about, not simply what the guildmaster teaches.
-Instinct and non-typical thinking grant him some insight to the ancient world
and provide some tactical combat advantages.
-Although brief and still upon rare occasion he has taught others to awaken
their inner instinct as well.
-On occasion he has been able to run wild with other Outlanders however
they seem sporadic at best.
-Through an epic lack of companionship he has developed a second lesser
persona in which he converses with at times.
-He may be found, or seen as foolish, or demented as he carries brief
conversations with himself.
-His second, lesser persona has allowed a more in depth form of deception
and blatant lies to mislead those around him.
-During the days ahead he hopes to gain audience with Lyristeon the
Ancient lord of Mayhem for strength and wisdom.
