Description

A wicked looking man stands here just over five and a half feet tall. He has jet black hair that is receding back on his head. His skin is pale in color and his face looks quite weather'd for his age. He has large bags under his eyes no doubt from many sleepless nights. His eyes themselves look different then most. They are piercing blue but most of the eyeball are filled by black saucer pupils. His lips thin, nose crooked and chin pointy while prominent. His arms are slender yet muscular leading to his clamy looking boney fingers. His legs look rather average even though he looks to stand a bit bowlegged. He wears a large dark robe to hide his undergarmets and equipment but you catch a glimpse and take notice that...

An orphan was the only life he ever knew. His parents murdered before he
could even remember one thing about them. He was moved to the orphanage in
Balator where he lived for a quite a few years with other orphans. It was not
a horrible place as he had food, shelter and basic education. But, he still
hated the strict rules and guidelines he was forced to obey.

He fled the orphanage when he was old enough to fend for himself. He found
passage across the sea and made a new home within the boundaries on Arkham.
He met a group of rogues who took him into thier hangout. This is where he 
was first trained in the skills of theivery. 

He always a wild streak to him and was hard to control but at the same time
he always knew that something was missing within his mind. He yearned to
learn more then what he could be taught by the rogues of Arkham. He wanted
more knowledge and truth.

He went out on his own to scour the lands and learn.

It was inside the Arkham sanatarium where they first met. Yubotexz was casing
the place for the crazy and dying who he could more easily lift valuables
from. The place was full of easy pickins.

As he crossed this room it was an old man that caught his eye. He was blurting
out words but Yubotexz could'nt quite hear the sentences in entirety. He only
heard the words 'fog', 'illusion', 'profane', 'murder', 'Father' and 'Truth'.
The word 'Truth' is what interested Yubotexz the most, he had always wanted to
know this wisdom.

The old man next said 'Come help me boy', 'Yes, you! The one listening from
behind the wall'. The old man amazed the young one with his sense of 
surroundings. Yubotexz stepped out from the shadows into the room for the first
time. Once again amazed the old man had not even opened his eyes yet.

It took many a day for Yubotexz to gain the trust of the old man. But day after 
day he returned to see him and enentually the bond of trust was made. He would
bring the old man seafood daily instead of the gruel he was fed that 
reminded Yubotexz of the orphanage. The seafood helped strengthen the old
man and within weeks Yubotexz and him snuck out of the Sanatarium together.

The old man began to train and teach the young thief. He became his teacher,
trainer, and mentor. He taught him strength, quickness and flexibility.
He taught him how to focus more on himself, how to act and live, and what to 
eat. 

Most importantly, he awakened Yubotexz to the Father of Devils.
He spoke the name Scarabaeus and Yubotexz listened.

SlicKnife

How did he get the name SlicKnife?

It was a combination of names, two names. In his twenties his closest allies
called him 'The Knife', or 'Knife'. Then in his thirties his pals refered to
him as slick and called him that, 'Slick'. They both were terms of endearment.
'Knife', as in deadly with the knife. 'Slick', a cool smooth operator. By the
time he entered his forties the names had morphed together, 'SlicKnife'.
