The youngest of a destitute Arkham family who did not need to have more
children.
The ugliest and least likeable of his family, he was clearly not wanted. Aware
of his physical misfortune he found solace in his intellect. He learned of
magic sought the transmutation guild as a way to change his fortunes.
Unwilling to take on a pauper he never gave up, took every opportunity to prove
he was worth teaching.
Finally his perseverance earned a recommendation from the guardian mage, if
anything to get him to leave him be.
Finally old enough to rid himself of Arkham. He left for galadon tp pursue a
career with the tribunal where he can be recognized for his contribution
instead of his appearance.
career
Added Mon Dec 23 21:46:11 2024 at level 51:
After joining the Spire as a teenager, he got off to a fast start impressing
his elders. Still not meeting the provost finally he encountered him in his
twenties. Asked where he wanted his career to go, he was uncertain exactly
where his contributions would be best served.
Still he left the meeting with the feeling of finally finding someone willing
to teach him, someone he wss looking forward to learning from. Under his
guidance he would find his path.
Unfortunately, it was twenty more years before he saw his boss again. All the
things he thought he might learn from his boss he was forced into his own
self-reliance again as always.
He had many bickering with other magistrates. He refused disrespect from those
who worked less than he, He felt again the ire of disgust of those around him.
He had few friends, yet remained a strong magistrate that still commanded
respect. He opted to make his voice loud, foregoing being liked for respect.
It took a petty report he disagreed with an assessment combined with the
following debate reminding him he just dud not like people, where he realized
his future probably should not include hiring decisions.
He was plenty bold to lead and create judgements, but finally he realized as
badly as he wanted to bring guard escorts his proclivities fit best making
justiciar policy.
Finally he saw his boss again. He did not back down from his ire at his
disappearance. Will he show to lead us or has it fallen to the next generation?

Twenty years of service in Hamsah He finally sees Moldrak again.
Told his justiciar application was going in. he slept quickly. He was surprised
if it did.
Years went by.. nothing. Provincials named, competition pops up. More nothing.
One day:
Did you get an invitation? He did not. Left out again, as usual. Be smart.
Where are we going? Nothing. Silence. Some mystery. Nothing to go on.
Strings. Mages at the end of strings. Connect strings.
Magistrates involved. Traps laid buzzwords used as bait. More buzzwords
claimed.
Ancients. Gesoros. Shadow Realm.
The Destuvian, still aware of history but without his cog in the Design, dove
into the puzzle, still aware of mistakes of the past by deceived order magi, He
put his energy into thr gesoros puzzle and disrupting whatever his enemy had
planned at all costs. He even kept watch on the fortress. Never did he think he
would defend the orb. He shouted the plan from the rooftops for anyone to
listen, ready to divert whatever disaster was impending.

Really he had no idea what he was doing his best guess was he was going to have
to fight some sort of ancient. He prepared to make what was likely to be a
futile stand.
The file had been mostly shelved with no movements by gesoros, when off on an
errand a winged warlock put some of his buzzwords in his ear.
Finishing the errand, he spoke to the warlock, who had been tasked to find him
The message was:
I bear the weight of fallen fire, carved from sin and bound in ire.
The siege camp was mentioned.
A new investigation was opened.
He solved the puzzle, finding the how and where, but needing the muscle and the
what.
He was a sane magi with a recollection of past mistakes. He would not cast a
spell he did not understand. The investigation continues.
the mirror

Look in the mirror in a temple in Arkham.
A few temples in Arkham.
Exercise caution. Scour the profane first.
Nothing in the city cathedral.
Onto the other. Needed to be sure before I break in here.
This is definitely the mirror.
I look nothing like whst I transformed. Not sure whst to make of this.
Looking around a bit more in the ruins.
Eastern halls house leadership ruins. The voice. A Speaker.
I have always had the loudest voice.Western halls house the ruins of a library.
He withdrew a book from the old days a catechism.
This is why I was really brought here to learn how to speak.
A few words resonate most from the old text:
During this next heptad, your task is to discern what lies beneath the mask
of another and reveal it for what it is.
This was the mirror. Reflect on your true self Behind who you have pretended
you were.
That is where we are now, with homework. think on the texts. Learn to speak. find the artifact. take the lead yourself.
you were born for this. the design just yielded unexpected results.

Much of the text revolves around masks and understanding so let us take this
time to understand the mask I wore.
Born into the poverty pipeline for orderly systems, We ate it up out of
desperation for more.
Hard work and dedication set me apart to begin my life. those traits remained
in my career but failed to yield fruit.
After basic needs, I chased prestige.
I.De Imperio
While not imperial this one applies to different chains.I was bound to a master
who may have been capable were he present. Instead I was forced to become my
own master and in reality master of thew spire in his absence so he could
continue to collect his bonuses when he woke up for a pie party.
II.De Amiticia
Bonding with others has never been a trait of mine. I despised my family. Bonds
were never formed to know what that was like. At work I mostly had coworkers.
Some I liked more than others but I usually judged them on reliability. There
was one above others I formed an attachment to. We will return to focus pon him
once the heptad writing is complete.
III.De Natura
This is mostly applied at my first reaction to the request to perform dark
magic. The conditioning turned my thoughts to responsible magic use. Stories of
imperial Mages who failed to take charge of destiny within their grasp. Still
his investigative skills prevailed. The Riddle came
I bear the weight of fallen fire, carved from sin and bound in ire.
The questions remaining. How and What?
There was no recoil in that aspect. I have always been aware of my nature. I do
not find accepting it so difficult.
The what deserves its own passage, and I believe refers to my attachment
specifically. Another thing to address later. Still apart was the realization I
have been tapped as a Herald for the Father. The most shocking thing to me was
that someone had finally seen what I knew was ther all along. I had become so
down on myself, I nearly failed to remember my own power.
I struggled with this the most. Hate often gave definition to my life but not
in the way many feel it.
I never had hate for the chaos lings I enjoyed more toying with them.
Situations were frequently moved to my advantage by "bring one more to the;role + center"
The law was always about knowing it well enough to take advantage of it.
There was one particular tribunal I felt hate for. I do not think I attached
any of my self worth to him. My superiority essentially ruined his career
anyways. He was likely envious of my superior ability in sall things. I clearly
frustrated him, generated his own envy and hate. There was no potential or
use in the gnome. Credit to him at least, he was very clear in his own self
importance.
V De Profanis Sacerdotiis
We murdered the Jaguar priest hiding in town believing himself safe He sat
vomiting at the altar. He was shown he was not safe.
