look at this arial. Feathers on his back and on his head
are black, while hie neck and chest are white. His wings
are also black, except for the very tips, where few long
white feathers are located.
Huge razor-sharp talons and aquiline beak point that you
see a bird of prey before you with absolute certainty.
His eyes are as blue as serene sky.

Even in big Thera, understanding and accepting all its powers
and gods, Zathar is still an arial raised in Okiralla, and he
is still influenced by the gods he believed in from the very
childhood. To better understand his speech patterns and some
of his behaviours, one is advised to know the following.
First Egg
A mysterious creature of great power who create the race of
arials, as well as other arial gods. Is usually perceived as
gender-neutral and referred to as "it". Is rumored to be far
more powerful than the other gods, but is inactive since the
arials were created. Wizards and scientists of Okiralla use
First Egg as their symbol and supposedly draw power to gain
knowledge from it.
Proverbs and sayings:
"In the name of First Egg!", - outlines strong emotions, more
on the positive side.
"To understand First Egg", - to do a lot of thinking, likely
unproductive.
Iron Beak
A god of warriors. Is perceived as male. Possesses incredible
skill and courage. Follows a strict code of honor and avoids
injustice. However, he is considered a little simple-minded,
and sometimes gets tricked into the fights on the wrong side.
Proverbs and sayings:
"Iron Beak would find him a worthy opponent", - compliment to
a warrior.
"Scarier than Iron Beak in anger".
Golden Feather
A godess, wife to Iron Beak, ideal of beauty for arials. Is a
goddess of mercy, healing, and family ties. Only she is able
to appease Iron Beak's anger. Is also a goddess of white lie,
for when one needs to lie not for personal benefit, they pray
to Golden Feather, not to the Walking One.
Proverbs and sayings:
"Sight nearly as beautiful as Goldn Feather's flight".
The Walking One
His original name is forgotten, for everybody calls him the
Walking One now. A god of lies, for personal benefit, or for
evil fun, a patron of thieves. For every rule or law, is able
to totally pervert the spirit of it while strictly following
the letter of it. Enjoys mocking Iron Beak's code of honor.
It was just once that Iron Beak caught him out in a lie, and
torn his wings off. Since then, the Walking One is that, the
Walking One.
Proverbs and sayings:
"Walking One's wings!", - outlines strong emotions, more on
the negattive side.
"A worthy child of the Walking One", - an insult.
Winged Terror
What Zathar could figure out from the book he found, Winged
Terror was a dark and fairly chaotic creature. He came to the
arials in their dreams, which caused them to die from fear.
How exactly he chose his victims was unclear, but death from
fear never happened to his priests or followers. The kind of
powers he granted to his chosen are also unknown, but it is
clear those powers didn't save them when the other religions
of Okiralla turned on them to erase the whole memory of the
dark god.
Proverbs and sayings:
All to be invented yet. Zathar is working on that.
Okiralla, Zathar's past.

Zathar was born in an arial settlement named Okiralla. Arials
of Okiralla are even more conservative than the Zakiim ones,
and they keep their location secret from other races of Thera
and avoid any contacts. They honestly believe that the only
way to preserve their culture and beliefs lies in separation
and secret. Arials of Okiralla worship their own gods unknown
outside their settlement.
Zathar was an acolyte in the Temple of Okiralla, devoted to
First Egg. He should have become a young priest soon, but his
life was changed by an old book he found in the archive. This
book described the Pantheon as Okiralla arials knew it, with
one difference: it mentioned one extra god, Winged Terror.
Zathar, being a curious young arial, turned to his mentor for
more information. Later he sure wished he had not done this.
It turned out Winged Terror was a god so dark and dangerous
in its unpredictability that all its followers were killed
long ago, and almost all books and scrolls about him seized
from libraries and archives. After that, for many centuries,
Winged Terror was dormant, and only very few highest ranking
priests of Okiralla even knew about its existance.
Being afraid of Winged Terror's awakening, the priests could
not let Zathar live, as they were not sure of his intent. He
was very lucky and escaped, because it was pretty difficult
for the priests to handle it all secretly by themselves, and
this kind of work they couldn't give even to the most trusted
of the followers. Now, Zathar can not return to Okiralla, but
he found that Thera is big and full of opportunities.
However, there only is one opportunity he want to pursue now.
Zathar dedicated his whole life to returning Winged Terror
from its millenia-long sleep. He wants to be at least guilty
of what he was accused of. And for that Zathar will sacrifice
sentient beings of Thera to his god. The more, the better.
