Description
Before you stands the immense form of a cloud giant, standing
nearly 13 feet in height. His pale gray face is distinctly
marked by two deep scars under each of his eyes, perfectly
symetrical to the other, which seem to emphasize his incredible,
dark green eyes that are set into his skull like two large
emeralds. His white hair rolls off his head and rests on his
broad shoulders. The immensity of this giants muscles combined
with the thickness of his armor make him appear almost barrel
shaped. His large arms resemble two large tree trunks, rooting
themselves around two swords, which dont seem to burden him in
the least. You also cant help but notice an extremely large
two-handed axe is securely chained to his back.
Role
Sapper in Training...

Zhelrantix was called to the sewers beneath Galadon by a
dwarven sapper, a messenger of Lord Thror himself. Zhelrantix
made his way, and when he had arrived.. Lord Thror, stood
in wait, along with Slathigern of the Village, and Oblain of
the spire. It was quite obvious to Zhelrantix that a challenge
lay before him.
Lord Thror began with asking questions of Theran history, making
it clear that the winner of this round of questions would gain
the advantage in the combat yet to come. Oblain emerged victorious
in the answering of the questions.. The upperhand that he would gain
over both Zhelrantix and Slathigern was that they would both be heavily
blindfolded, enabling him to start the battles as he wished, flee as
he wished, and rest however long he wished.
Things looked grim for Zhelrantix, but he did not crumble the slightest
bit under the pressure being forced upon him. Off into the sewers he went,
blindfold around head, and blades in hand. The screams of his kin echoed
through the damp sewers, and soon he had screamed his last. Zhelrantix knew
he was to be targetted next, and continued to lie in wait. He heard the
large footsteps of Oblain getting closer to where he stood. With a clash
of blades, the fight had begun. Zhelrantix let out a warcry, "Death be
Swift!", and so it was..with a flurry of blades, Oblain was defeated.
Lord Thror removed Zhelrantix's blindfold, so he could view the corpse
of his fallen foe at his feet.
Impressed with Zhelrantix's actions, Lord Thror took Zhelrantix deep
into the sewers to teach him a new style of fighting. In only a few
hours, Lord Thror had taught him a technique that normally takes
ages to master. During the training session with Lord Thror, Zhelrantix
had expressed his wishes of becomming a Sapper..and Lord Thror had told
him it was a possibility that he could gain such, should he keep on
the path he is on..
Zhelrantix continues doing as he had and putting his all into the Village,
overcoming all obstacles put in his way, and facing all foes that interfere
with his main purpose.. Standing to be judged, and perhaps taken in as an
apprentice of THE Sapper himself, Zhelrantix continues on...

position he had held in his tribe. Zhelrantix takes his duties extremely
seriously and fulfills each duty to the best of his capabilities, striving
to not only fill the boots of those before him, but extend what is to be
expected from a Captain of the best bunch of warriors that Thera has

The Shaping of a Young Warrior..
Added Mon Sep 8 15:33:05 2003 at level 51:
In the large, prosperous tribe of the Zar'we, the child of
a common tribal guard was born. This child was named "Zhelrantix",
after the legendary blade of the Zar'we tribal leader. His father
began teaching young Zhelrantix to wield an axe no sooner could
he stand on his own two feet. Zhelrantix quickly grew into a
compitent fighter, and took up arms as a tribal guard in the
footsteps of his father. The Zar'we traditionaly all weilded
larger weapons, such as axes, maces and polearms, but Zhelrantix
usually perferred the use of a smaller blades, such as swords, and
for this, he was often criticized and laughed at by the others.
"Not big enough to wield a REAL blade, huh lil guy!?" they would
jeer.. This only furthered Zhelrantix's study of the blade, and
soon he was able to strike with such ferocity, it would put all
axe users to shame.
Zhelrantix's fighting potential was becomming noticed, and he
quickly began climbing the ranks of elite guards, passing even
his more experienced father. His holding so high a rank over most
of the elder giants made him a target for constant attempts to
exploit his weakness, but all attempts failed, he kept climbing
the ranks. Many battles passed, and his kin warmed up to him,
realizing his combat prowess, despite his young age and he had
earned the name of "bear" amongst his peers, rooting from his
fighting style of pure power and disregard for pain dealt to him.
Things were going good for Zhelrantix, he had obtained the rank
of Captain of the Guard, and was schedueled to marry a childhood
friend who he loved deeply.
Things soon changed, as his wife to be began meddling with a
small orb-shaped object that she had stumbled across. At first
she only showed a bit of interest, but things began to escalate.
She soon became very withdrawn and would rarely leave her hut,
and when she did, she would act in a strange manor.
One night, Zhelrantix awoke to a slight trembling that shook
through his hut. Startled, Zhelrantix flew outside, and glanced
around himself in a panic, turning to see his wife to be's hut
completely charred. He brushed away the charred flap and rushed
inside, fearing what he might see, and to his horror she
lay.. writhing on the floor, life drained from her cold body,
the orb tucked to her side.
Without a word, Zhelrantix stormed through the forest, never
to be seen by the Zar'we tribe again.

Seeking the cause of his lovers death, Zhelrantix set
off to explore the lands and further train his fighting
abilities in preparation for the battle against this
evil that had shattered his life. Upon reading about the
Village of the Battleragers, there was not a doubt in
Zhelrantix's mind that magic was the cause of all his
troubles, and it was this Village that he must seek.
Many trials were set before Zhelrantix upon his gaining
entrance to the Village, but he persued, unwavering.
Long before he was able to walk the Village, he fought
the war of a true Battlerager, and continued still to do
so. Even with such hatred for what he fights and seeks
to utterly destroy, he still holds the art of combat and
honor on high.
Outrage...

Zhelrantix hears talk travelling that the Village has lost
all courage and is no longer anything it once was. At this,
Zhelrantix was greatly outraged, it was the great legacies
of the past Villagers that had inspired and motivated
him to shape himself into the finest warrior he could possibly
be.
Zhelrantix constantly strives to become the role model
Villager for the others to follow, to lead the
Village back towards the path of courage, and renew the
luster the Village once had. In his mind, doing so would
honor the many legacies and Villagers of the past, and
perhaps leave his mark on the Village, Immortalizing
his name forever.
