Description

Bright multicolored feathers are pulled back behind this young arial's head and tied behind him. Pure white eyes show clearly amongst his multihued feathers. His short beak is colored black giving his face a multitude of coloration. He has a slender yet muscular body. Long sweeping feathers that come of his arms and legs almost like a fan. Various books are kept by his hip. Ink covered pens can be see put into clear glass cases. Scrolls stuffed haphazardly into pouches. His clothing is conservative compared to his appearance. Dark black robes that are tight to his body.

Zirdorgle was born in arial city and was raised to be a writer and reporter
working under Skeeta Twitterlark. He was a pure soul, but he would do
anything to find the truth. He was sent to go undercover for a story
regarding the Truy'Quiqalls and their connection to the city elite. There
appears to be blood money pumping through the underbelly of their city. He
joined the necromancer's guild studying their arts and infiltrating their
inner circle to find out exactly what was happening.


Years of hard work as he dredged his way up the necromantic latter he felt
part of his soul die with every wicked act. Anger, hatred, and isolation from
the rest of society consumed him. When it was finally time to learn the
secrets he desired he was afraid that he had already lost too much of
himself. Fortunately for him he learned that he had some sense of goodness in
his soul.


He found the elites of the arial city were stealing children from the
surrounding cities and through necromantic rituals sucking out the souls of
the children, Drinking their blood, and grafting their flesh to their own to
keep up their youth. He hid his disgust and aided them in their ritual before
writing down the specifics. He gave the infromation to Skeeta onl for her to
tell him this was far to big a story for her to publish. It would ruin
everyone involved.


He wrote the story and made hundreds of copies spreading them all through
town. There was a rebellion within the city and as everything looked to be
turning for the best. The top of the city glowed with a strange multi hue
coloration. Zidorgle hid his eyes to avoid the light only to hear a horrible
screaming unlike he ever heard. He would proceed to pass out.


He woke to find himself naked out on the mountain range. He had a note
stuck to his chest that said if he ever returned he would be executed. He
gather information from his sources but no one remembered the rebellion or
the truth that  he told,


He left Arial city headed for hamsah to find a new home. Angry at the arial
city elites and the conspiracies they weave. The evils they do. He would
expose it all even if it killed him.

General

*during his time out cold his mind was altered to make him more paranoid and
less emotional stable. The goal to make him seem crazy and unhinged.


*He seeks out the herald because he wants to start his own paper calling out
the hidden elite agenda.


*He doesn't want to kill anyone except maybe the elites of the world. He only
cares about the truth.


*He believes physical perfection in the form of strength and agility are
extremely important. He will work out as he feels the need.


*He is hyper but gruff.


*If he can't be a reporter as a herald he will seek to be a bartender and
make healthy drinks. Protiein enriched drinks.

He has been distracted with everyone trying to kill him, his event, and his
inquirer that he has been neglecting his work outs. He is going to try to
focus on this more. He is having trouble finding Skreenak but he has an idea
for a Grand scavenger hunt in tribute to his Lord. He intends to have
everyone in Thera search for items he wants personally. Gather it up as a
contest then keep it all for himself. He will make it a point to not have it
connected to the heralds and to have it as him only being connected by
happenstance.


He wants to get more people involved with the Inquirer though it is hard.
Not many care enough oreven try to talk to him.

Gluttony

He has given up on Skreenak after years of failing to find him. He has
decided to focus his efforts on becoming a herald fully. Though he worries he
may never get a chance to fully join.


He has been indulging the sin of gluttony due to a ring he has found.
Slowly warping him away from his more careful eating habits. It started with
him not enjoying the hunger but accepting it for the power it gave him. It is
slowly corrupting him to it's ways. Now he happily wears it solely so he can
eat more.


He has been feeling nostalgic of his home over the last couple years asking
for things that remind him of home.  He worries for his family that is under
control of the Ayr trinil elite and what his path will take from him. His
paranoia stops him from wondering if it is all worth it or changing his ways.
The what ifs and knowledge that the elites are manipulating everyone around
him to weaken him drives him to double down on his magic.

Homecoming

Itching pain in the back of his skull awakens him from his sleep. Slowly
throbbing as what he assumed was the swelling pain of his continued curse of
the ancients from his dabblings with the ancient magics of the strange
island. The black Vertebra of a devil coils around his finger tightly driving
a deep hunger into his body. He rushes out of the Inn barely making it to
east sumners before a black ichor pours from his mouth. Black slugs
ravenously devouring each other enthralled in the delight of the sin of
gluttony. He snatched one up tossing it into an empty embalming jar before
rushing off to the nearby guild in Galadon.


What is this creature? How did it get inside him? Who put it inside him?
Was it Damil? He pushed the distracting thoughts from his mind and started to
dissect the slug while it was alive. Again the black vertebre tightened on
his finger sending him forward as another mass of wriggling slugs poured from
his black beak. This time with it flashes of memories wash over him. He is
standing in the mausoleum within Ayr Trinil creeping through following
Sal'arkin Truy'Quiqall as he walked through the crypt. Stopping finally at a
desecrated grave. Pressing into a stone hidden behind a pile of rubble and
silk a secret door opened.


followed him through keeping to the shadows the best he could. He
listened as Sal'arkin spoke to a shadowed mass. "The time ish near I'm making
the final preparathions." The mass gurgled "You should be more careful,
you've brought with you an intruder." It's eyes glowing an ominous red as it
glares directly at Zicdorgle. Grzzs are the next words Zicdorgle hears before
he falls asleep. He wakes staring face to face with a giant slug like
creature. A giant rod like tube closing in on his forced open beak.


A large sac of eggs is pushed into his stomach by the slug before the words
of sleep hit him once again. He finds himself outside the city limits his
vision blurred as he shambles toward Galadon. His stomach burns and the
inside of his brain screams in agony. Slowly his mind fogs over and his
memories change. He wakes up screaming finding himself on the floor of the
Galadon guild. He searches around finding a mass of half eating slugs and one
devouring itself.

A task completed.

He rubs his face trying to calm his nerves taking in what has happened to
him. Resolutely he stands knowing what he must do. He raises an army heading
to the crypt where it all began. Sal'arkin is waiting for him Zicdorgle
utters the worlds Grzzs as Sal'arkin slumps to the floor in a deep sleep.
Zicdorgle finds the secret panel pressing it before opening the secret door.
He passes through finding two young Truy'Quiqall guarding the slug queen.
Their beaks dripping black ichor before a slug like creature pokes out from
inside. IT's razor sharp teeth bared directly at him.


Zicdorgle is unphased as he points at them commanding them to die. Their
brains turn to dust before collapsing. The slugs slither out of their host
husks showing themselves to be 4 feet long each. They lunge  at him as a
zombie hand grasps the slug before slamming it into the hard rock. Crushing
the creature in the process. The Slug Queen gurgles "Stop my servant what are
you trying to do?" Despite it's grotesque appearance it looks expectantly at
Zic thinking he would falter at her command.


Suddenly she realizes he is no longer host to her parasitic children. She
sputters "Wait stop! I can give you anything you want! You don't have to do
this!" Zic sneers as he orders his undead to tear her a part. To be safe he
burned every part of her body and destroyed the ashes. A scream can be heard
from the crypt behind him. He finds Sal'arkin vomiting up a lifeless 4 foot
long slug. It is later found the rest of the Truy'Quiqalls that were infected
do the same. He finally reports to Skeeta Twitterlark finishing his task of
finding out what was happening with the Truy'Quiqalls. He leaves the city as
a hero with a story to tell the world.

Update

Added Sat Oct 14 12:59:34 2023 at level 47:
After making a leap of faith into giving up his magic to be a Herald he has
finally become one. He expected to lose his magic and be told he'd never
become  Herald.


He is questioning his paranoia if it is real or caused by a side effect of
the slugs.


He doesn't know if he wants to find redemption he might stay evil and
powerless forever as a mock necromancer.


He fears death not for himself but for others. He doesn't want to go back to
being alone again.


He fears death too because he doesn't want his Inquirer to fall away with no
one to carry it on forward for him.


He is haunted by the questions if it is better to live his life as a monster
or die as a good man.


He is questioning the merits of morality and why he should care to begin
with.


He has lost a lot of trust in himself and he is doubtful of all his actions
and what his future actions will be.


He doesn't know what he will do, but for now he believes he has made the
right decision.


He is extremely upset about not being able to fly.

Damil and Balance.

Everything has become clear for him after Damil professed their love for him.
He wants to focus on taking care of the Heralds and everything that she cares
about.


After years thinking on his own actions and what has happened he has come
to the conclusion that he doesn't care about being evil. To explain this well
it isn't that he seeks to be good or to be redeemed. It is he has no reason
to keep his primary focus which was revenge on ayr trinil.


He has decided instead of letting his enemies go at each other throats which
would keep him safe. He will unite them in attacking him because the
dramatics while keeping him alive make him seem insincere. Which he was but
isn't now. All because of Damil.


He keeps saying he is cornered which doesn't mean he is cornered like his
life is in danger. It means that he sees no other path forward besides the
one in front of him.
