Description
A rather swarthy looking man is here, his dark locks of hair mussed and
hanging unkempt about his head.Eyes almost as black as the night itself
seem to stare about with a look of disdain. The sockets about his eyes are
sunken and his cheekbones raised giving this man the look of a walking
skeleton. The dark complection of his skin further highlights the bulk of
muscle that encases his body. The garbs of this man are all dull and soiled,
any of their luster long gone from the surfaces of the metals. Carrying two
distinct markings, you can barely distinguish the tattoos against his ebony
skin. One lies across his wrist, a band of skulls interlocking. The other
sits upon his forearm. It is that of a skull, a dagger seeming to split the
top of its skull. Looking rather defunct of anything civilized, he seems
covered in mud and various grasses and leaves.

The ambush

From the torn scroll now covered in blood and human
remains................................................He's out, we don't
know how but he is. He has broken free, shout the calling to all the guards.
danger is immenent. Double the patrols.................................
Zontoya glanced over it briefly, a twisted grin of satisfaction upon his
face. "Guess this won't be making it to its destination." he hoarsley
whispered as he glanced down at the remains of the messenger.
Briefly picking clean what flesh he could from the dismembered corpse and
wrapping it in the now soaked parchment, Zontoya quickly disappeared into the
woods, cackling into the night.
The taste
Added Thu Jul 22 21:06:29 2004 at level 17:
The urge for flesh was getting to heavy for Zontoya to handle.Trying to
hide the hunger he had made due off of animals and various creatures in the
woods like everyone else. Yet, that one taste was all it took. Now the
urge grew larger and larger. He could no longer stand it..he had to have
meat.human meat.
Waking to the glare of a bright sunlight, Zontoya was not sure exactly where
he was.He heard the trickle of water near. How did I end up here? ,he
wondered. Then as he stood and looked over he saw something that brought
back part of what occurred. There was but a few mangled and scattered parts
remaining of some..person. Then, *CRACK*! Zontoya slumped with the blow
of a club to his skull.

The subject seems to phase in and out of states of primordial rage. One
moment seeming completely normal, the next turning to attack whatever is next
to him.Insanity seems to sum him up, and our observation cage has seemed
all to perfect the place for this one. Having the intellect that he has,
this seems too strange.Perhaps further studies will bring about an answer.

To war.

Having recently escaped, I quickly darted into the woods to find shelter from
any that might be expecting the mangled fellow.Quickly supressing the
thirst for flesh, I unwrapped what meat I had managed to scavenge and made a
quick meal. Having satisifed my thirst, I made my way by the moonlight
through the woods. After a few hours, and making sure no one was following,
i sat to rest and ponder the many events that had happened so far. It was
then I realized that any civilized town I might encounter could possibly know
about my escape. I would avoid them at all costs, save for the times that I
would make my ways into them to pillage what I needed or burn them in hopes
of hiding my identity. I would never be safe amongst the towns, and instead
realized that they only provided a burden to me. So I did what any person
would do. I set to destroying them all. It was by this means I could
finally get rid of those that hunted me. And at the same time it would
provide more than enough flesh for my craving. Through some contacts I
managed to make and overhearing others that rode by me and spoke, I heard of
a band of fellow rouges and ruffians known as outlanders. I figured that
they could offer protection and seemed to share an interest in seeing the
towns destroyed. It was this that made me decide to join them and have
others able to aide me in the war against the civilized. Even those of the
Empire were in their sights for annihilation, giving me even greater
satisfaction. It was these bastards that saw me locked into the cage, and
now they would pay. While most times I was able to control my thirst, being
caged or cornered sent me into quite a blinding rage. So now my efforts
would be concentrated on these foolish people, and the flesh that imprisoned
me would now serve me in quenching my thirst. Of course there are a few
trade offs when joining a faction such as these...
While anyone that crossed my path with ties too close to civilization would
meet a quick strike with the blade, there are others seen as unworthy of the
cause. I figure it gives me even more ways of getting flesh, and have
decided to be more than happy in seeing to thier demise. Speaking to the imp
and seeing his willingness to allow me in their tree has intrigued me, and I
shall come to learn more about him as time allows me. For now though I must
begin to unleash my rage on those of the cities and thier empires, it is time
to create havoc and chaos. Time to feed the craving. To war.
The voices

Awakening from a dream, Zontoya found himself within the tree he now called
home. Amongst the refuge he had come to make several allies, all not knowing
the true nature of the beast within him. While the hunts kept his thirst
satisfied, he still heard the voices ringing in his head from earlier days.
It was those whispers and voices that he now served. They revealed their
plan to him, and it was his intentions to see these plans executed. Forever
in his dreams and sleep he saw visions of the destruction they prophesized.
One in particular was that of a powerful snake, a viper, beside it a worm.
The viper then consumed the worm, making the worm and the viper as one.He
knew then what must be done and the work that lied ahead
An earlier time

I grew up amongst a tribal community, deep within a dark forest many miles
from civilized life. An outcast society, most of its members were hunted due
to their heritage. Having found a way of life amongst these men and women,
my father taught me early on in life the basic ways of survival and combat.
Nothing special stands out in my past, and no knew why it was I turned the
way I did. The suprise on both hands, the thought that my own people turned
me over to Imperials due to fear and the suprise at the findings of me lying
next to the mangled corpse of my father...blood still caking my face.
It is only recently some images of what occured have come back to me. I
still only recall certain things....Perhaps the past will never be truely
revealed.
The name
Added Sat Aug 7 05:34:06 2004 at level 47:
Searching back upon my past, it seems some things have come to me.
It was within the tribe at an early age I earned the name Zontoya. Amongst
the tribes, the name Zontoya meant unsettled spirit. It was a name given to me
for my countless days spent roaming the wilds, never seeming content to come home.
It was Zontoya Da'Shaaham or the restless spirit that consumes the soul. I was named such
shortly after my capture and banishment. It is a name I will take into the afterlife.
