Description
You catch a glimpse of an odd looking man garbed in colorful and
baggy clothing. He moves drunkenly with the natural grace of a sure
alcoholic. Despite the variety of clothes, the bells, the ruffles,
instruments and smell of the cheap booze portray an image akin to
that of a shabby poetaster. Curly brown hair cascades from underneath
his hat, reminding you of some out-of-place wild animal, as his lulling
glazed eyes look aimlessly about. The young man's face is dirty and
roughly shaved, likely from laziness, but is otherwise characterless,
apart from the surprisingly spirited blue eyes vehemently blazing
through wisps of his hair.
Role
Prosperty, Music, Neltouda

I consider myself a relatively intelligent individual, raised with
the limitations of poverty. I see myself as a bit of an enigma to
the social profile to which I belong. As I grow older, experiencing
the world for myself, I become smarter and wiser. This, to me, is
an adventure worth relishing. Enough so that, it inspires me to
drive myself to success--no matter what I do in life.
Several years ago now, I took up music as a recreation. It began
as a slight breeze, and rapidly amplifies into a furious storm.
Music has become one of the defining aspects of my life. Captain
Neltouda, as I understand, governs the magic harnessed within the
music I play. She is quickly becoming an instrumental part of my
life. And she seems to accept my greed and hunger for success very
openly. I feel that we may be kindred spirits, in some roundabout
way--which is a new and unusual feeling to me.
Captain Neltouda preaches to have spirit and direction in life. I
relate to these ideals because of where I have been. I want to have
as much influence on the prosperity of Thera's citizens as possible.
I have shared this view with as many as possible: Bloodoaths, Sect
members, strangers at the Eternal Star, even the War Master Tarleton.
I approach others with my views as diplomatically as possible, so
that I do not seem overbearing--as my Imperial status might imply.
This method has reached a small number of people. I must find a way
to get through to broaden my positive influence. And credentials are
a must. There are many things to work on still.
The beginnings: Hamsah Docks

Since moving to the Hamsah Docks, I've very nearly been able to
recreate myself. What I mean by that is, since no one here knows
me or knows where I come from, other than what I've told them, it
is easy to make myself seem better than I am through stories and
lies. I have adopted a pleasant demeanor since arriving here. It
makes it easier to get what I want. People are more responsive to
someone that appears nicer. As a result, I have become rather well
liked and appreciated here, despite being just a dockworker.
I have made many associates here. None that I would especially
consider friends. Though perhaps they revere me as such? I do not
really care. One person even gave me a rare fiddle from one of
their ship adventures. I thought about selling it. Instead, I used
it as a means to entertain and collect coins while I wasn't working
the docks. I struggled at first to learn, but caught on rather
naturally. I money I made playing amateur fiddle, I used to pay for
professional lessons in Hamsah.
The beginnings: Galadon Docks
Added Tue Jul 7 17:14:05 2009 at level 30:
Another day begun. And another day spent on the miserable Galadon
docks. These docks are reminiscent of purgatory. The same repetitious
work every single day. Every man has a dream of their own. But very
few every get to live their dream. Much of the time, men live the
dreams of others, fulfilling a will other than their own. But then
that is simply the way of life- not all people can be natural born
leaders. In every great society, there must be people willing to
follow these leaders. On rare occasions, those who follow diligently
will earn the opportunity to lead men success and victory.
I see myself as the latter. One who will live a life working hard
and earning my way through life. At this point in my life, I don't
know exactly where my journey will take me or how I will even get
there. I can say this much: There is no opportunity for me here at
the Galadon Docks. There is no room for growth and maturity here.
Recognizing this, I know that I must move on. I know that I do not
have much work experience, so I will have to continue with what I
am familiar with for now. I will work the Hamsah Docks where there
is more money to be made, and more networking opportunities.
