KINGPIN 'BANDIT KING' SPYMASTER ENFORCER GODFATHER (2171)
Every thief guildhall that requires membership has a leader, or kingpin, whose
title varies depending on which guild they control.
The Kingpin of Galadon
The center of the world some travelers call it, as many roads lead to Galadon.
It is here that many a traveler has sought out their fate, and where many a
journey has begun. A city teaming with people as their streets overflow and
better yet, their pockets filled with golden dreams. What a better city for a
pickpocket to claim, for each purse is fat and there is never a lack of marks
for one to lighten. Here the streets are for the quick and nimble as one
swindles and charms the travelers of the lands, all the while they gain their
gold and their dreams. This city's alleys and shadows are rumored to be run by
the Kingpin, as he takes a cut of everyone who works within his city. With
the wealth of the city at his disposal, it is said he holds a lot of power
within the dark underworld of crime, as he can often hire help to handle
any who would double-cross him.
The Bandit King of Hamsah Mu'tazz
The Shining Jewel of the Desert. A major port town and gateway into the main
continent from the new worlds, this is a hub of commerce and trade. As the
city's ports are filled with merchant ships and the bazaars filled with goods
and caravans setting out into the inner parts of the continents, there is much
to be gained here. This guild sets about controlling these marketplaces and
ports, controlling all that enters and leaves as they make sure to take their
cut. It is said that any who would dare defy this guild would often find
themselves taken in the dead of night and if the guild's demands were not met,
only bits of the missing were found. They are pirates of the seas and raiders
of the desert, all led by their Bandit King.
The Godfather of Voralian City
Though a shining city of white, many things happen within the shadows of
Voralian City. It is said that one can find the most exotic of ingredients
from around the world here within their markets. Not far from these items
one can as well find those who mastered the art of taking these herbs and
concocting most unusual poisons from them. Even with the peacekeepers of the
Voralian Order marching through the city, those in the shadows wander freely
as they know there are few who would stand against their fearful creations.
To them, this is their city now, controlled by the shadowed whispers of the
Godfather.
The Enforcer of Dagdan
In the reclusive village of Dagdan, the frontier life holds sway. One gets
what they wish through the edge of the knife and by force. Here thugs and
bullies take what they want for they know their guild will back them as well
as their brotherhood. Here only the ruthless survives and makes it to the top
of the guild. Their leader is the Enforcer, one who doesn't think twice to
take what he wishes.
The Spymaster of Blackclaw
With Blackclaw surrounded by the forest, many influences of the rangers have
seeped into this city. Centered among the felar, those of this guild have
learned to take the crude snares and hunting traps of the locals and
incorporate them into a deadlier tool. They use these traps to hunt a more
profitable prey then the rabbits of the forest. They know the power of setting
traps is not just the pain they cause, but that they set fear into the hearts
of those stalked. With this city being close to the main artery of Thera, the
Eastern Road, it has become an outpost where rogues and thieves come and pass
along information to the Spymaster, in hopes of learning the art of trapping.
The Vote
Elite members of a guild may call a vote to establish new leadership in the
absence of a Kingpin. Once the vote is called, a voting period of one week
is set and any member who reaches Elite status within that timeframe may cast
a vote. Ties are settled by donations.
